O’Rourke is a bona-fide youthful challenger to Biden and Sanders. I believe he would do very well against Donald Trump.

He has large support from deluded democrats. He is young and has a pretty face. That should make him a frontrunner. Never mind that he is an uncivilized anti-American hostile radical.

It's going to be an interesting mix, and I think he will help balance out the field a bit. De Blasio seems to be exploring the possibility of a presidential run; that would make it a pretty wide array of candidates representing various views in the party. I'm curious to see if the DNC is going to stick to the strategy of moving toward the center (as they did way back with Bill Clinton) or continue their turn further left.

He just keeps on running. He is running in 2020, 2024, 2028, 2032 and until he dies. He understands running is a cash cow and he has no understanding how to end a campaign. There is the book deal, there is the made for TV movies. And, nobody really knows what he wants as policies as being president. He is not going to get my vote.

Why would he be a good candidate for President if he couldn't win his seat in Texas?

He wants to remove existing barriers on our border. You can parse words but he is fact advocating giving illegsl aliens a less restrictive path to cross into the united states

    One should not laugh.

Beto IS young, dynamic, attractive, and politically correct.

Along with a female running mate (preferably a lady of color), the Democratic ticket could sweep the nation.

Of course, the ticket would get tremendous help from the media, academia, the deep state, and non-citizen voters.

Sadly, President Trump (for whom I would happily vote for again) is his own worse enemy. His colorful and insensitive words have simply made things worse. If he could only act more presidential and ignore his critics' venom, he might be able to win in the Electoral College again.

Difficult winning in a red state against a well known Republican Senator with GOP Super-Pac money pouring in.

    Yet he almost did it.

Trump makes Republicans choose between him or their principles. The loyalty tests never ever end, and the choice shouldn’t even be difficult.

But Cruz is/was the least popular senator in the US. Trump has a better approval rate than Cruz in TX. Even GOPers in TX dont really like Cruz.
