Trump calls Tim Cook, CEO of Apple as 'Tim Apple'

Normal people care that their president is a pathological liar. What's wrong with you?

MEH, I'm used to it...

Now, this is the type of stuff I can criticize Trump for. Just say you made a mistake in your haste. It's not that important.

To say that Trump is 'not that bright' would be like saying the sun is just a little hot. It's a profound understatement. Sure, we all confuse or forget names sometimes, but when the president is hosting some of the biggest CEO's on the planet in the White House, he should at least make an effort to remember their damned name or write it on his palm or something.

When Lockheed CEO Marilyn Hewson was at the White House he called her Marilyn 'Lockheed'. And he didn't even say it in an uncertain tone, "Marilyn LOCK-heeed". When speaking of Lockheed Martin's F-35 fighter jet he described it as 'literally invisible'. "Do you like the F-35? I said how does it do it in fights, and how do they do in fights with the F-35. He says we do very well, you can't see it. Literally you can't see. It's hard to fight a plane you can't see right? But that's an expensive plane you can't see."

There's only so much dumb****ery that any person can be expected to overlook.

Do we all recall Trump saying "I know words, I have the best words, but there's no better word than stupid."?

Trump says he called Apple’s CEO ‘Tim Apple’ to save time after reportedly telling donors he never said it.
Trump tweets that he quickly said “Tim Apple” at a White House event “to save time & words.

Trump’s tweet walks back comments he made to Republican donors on Friday, according to a report from Axios, where he said he’d actually called Cook “Tim Cook Apple.” :lamo

In the course of 8 years and a campaign Obama did say some things that weren't true but he didn't do so intentionally like Trump.

Example, “More young black men languish in prison than attend colleges and universities across America”

The citation of that stat came from the Justice Policy Institute's report "Cell Blocks Versus Classroom," which they wrote in 2002. When they analyzed the data, they looked at the National Center for Educational Statistics head count of black men in college, and compared that to the Department of Justice count of inmates at the time. And they came up with almost 100,000 more black men in prison than in college.

But that doesn't compare to Trump who intentionally brazenly lies on a regular basis about everything.

"If you like your health-care plan, you can keep it”

Was a campaign promise regarding legislation that wasn't written and negotiated yet. Things changed during that process. It's a broken campaign promise, not a lie.

"We signed into law the biggest middle-class tax cut in history”

That's something all administrations do. It depends on how you look at the numbers. Trump does this all the time.

None of this makes Trump's Tim Apple lie any less pathetic, petty and pathological.

That's all you have. Trump inherited a healthy economy so now he's free to lie all day?

Trump is a pathological liar. Do you deny that?

I don't know. He can't really be that dumb, right?

Yes he really is that dumb. I saw a man on TV the other day, no idea who he was, but he grew up in one of Fred Trump's buildings in Queens. He said the first time he saw Donald Trump was when Donald was around 8 and accompanied his father Fred to take out the dimes and quarters in the machines in the building's laundromats. He said Donald Trump was dressed as he would be today, in a suit and tie.

The late professor William T. Kelley taught marketing at Wharton School of Business and Finance, University of Pennsylvania, for 31 years, ending with his retirement in 1982. Professor Kelly had stated to friends many times long before Trump entered politics, “Donald Trump was the dumbest goddam student I ever had.”
