Ocasio-Cortez Now Says She Wants to "Tax Robots"

There is very little in the Green New Deal that is reality. If an employee made this blue print for their employer it would be shoved back into their face and told to start all over again. This thing is DOA in the Democratic party. No need to even talk about the Republican party. It is nothing but a fictional fantasy socialist wish list. But, Republicans can thank AOC for giving them the ammunition to hang socialism around the necks of the party.
The Green New Deal is not a policy blueprint. It is a set of general guiding principles that are intended to inform future policy making. What specifically in the Green New Deal do you disagree with? Please quote the actual Green New Deal Resolution when doing so.

Depends on the era. Much different era today. The guys are bigger and faster but the game, overall, is less physical. There is much less goon play but also too much cracking down on physical play for my taste. Of course, the refs do swallow the whistle much more in the playoffs which is why it's better hockey.

From any era. My Final 5 + Goalie would be : Bobby Hull LW, Steve Yzerman C, Gordie Howe RW, Bobby Orr and Scott Stevens on D, Ken Dryden in the net.

(Yes...I chose Yzerman over Gretzky..who ,while undeniably great, profited from the talent-diluted era in the history of the league...the Big Expansion as the WHA teams came aboard. Plus, he lacked the tough as nails , will kill you for the puck play of Stevie Y.)

I'm inclined to think it's a misrepresentation since I've never actually felt upset about something on this board (it's the internet). Any specific examples?
Your unquestioned acceptance of frothy right wing arguments about the GND such as

Unrealistic cost estimates
Banning hamburgers
Banning air travel

If i have confused you with another poster, please let me know

I've spoken on all three, but not on a foaming level. I actually read both versions of the FAQ and the actual document. I don't believe I was ever under the impression banning hamburgers or air travel were really the goal. The unrealistic cost is something I actually read up on because I wanted to be able to accurately give numbers during a discussion (looking up suggested implementations of the individual goals, not just some article on the GND).

I personally love that she submitted the GND. Laying it all out there instead of incrementalism is more honest than we usually see and I personally believe it's a nice statement against socialism.

I realize folks think I'm joking, but it's totally possible to really like and respect AOC without supporting her views. On the merits of any individual point, I'm also open to discussion.

Anyway, not sure if you have me mixed up or not since I've touched those subjects, but either way, you are welcome to see me however ya like. Doesn't mean we can't debate and enjoy the site :)
