What I HAVE noted is that your attempts to inject him into this thread were a CLEAR indication that you felt convicted by this Carlson story. It's this sort of deflection that so often gives away the true sentiments of your side. As I've often noted, you people simply do not have the personal integrity or backbone own up to your mistakes, or to the mistakes of your political leaders, without couching it in some form of "both sides" or "whatabout" nonsense. It's just pathetic, but it's as predictable as the sun rising in the east. You guys just cannot help yourselves. It's a characater test that you fail, every time.

The "market" (i.e. rational people) decided, long ago, that Sharpton's controversial antics were in NO WAY akin to advocating child rape, incest, pedophilia and running a child sex slave ring,....AND that his inflammatory and often offensive rhetoric from the 80's and 90's was not a reflection of the man today. Obviously (judging by his antics and rhetoric RIGHT NOW, and his doubling down on those of his past), the same cannot be said about Tucker Carlson. People get that. People get that, if a younger Al Sharpton was angry and bigoted toward whites, he's not the same man today. People also get that Tucker Carlson was an angry bigot 20 years ago...and he's still the same angry bigot today. It's really not that complicated. The only people who do NOT grasp that "nuance" (which is putting it kindly, because it's really not all that nuanced), are people like you. And that's because, well...clearly....you are what you are.

The bottom line here is that you have demonstrated that you still support Tucker Carlson, who is CLEARLY a pretty vile racial and religious bigot, as well as a misogynist. You support him because those things don't ofend you, and because his politics (which include those things) agree with yours. That's your right. Just stop hiding behind fake-a$$ "whataboutisms" and own up to your own feelings.
