This women is as bad as Pocahontas. Totally non electable.
 
I don't know who that is. But generally speaking, running for President, even if you have zero chance of winning, is a great way to increase your name or brand recognition, which is beneficial in media, business or politics.

ETA: Case in point: I just looked her up and now I know who Amy Klobuchar is.

I hear bad and good about her. Enough bad to scare me. Enough good that I tell myself not to say no in advance. I tell myself to have faith in the process. Whoever emerges from the Democratic primary brawl will have proven themselves in many ways and I'm going to vote for them. Period.
 
I expect her to be out after the first month of primaries.

If she last that long.

She has been one of my Senators and I think she's doing a fine job at that.

She certainly did not wait to turn on her fellow Democratic Senator from Minnesota. That still galls me to this day.

What my dog left in the yard this morning is better than Cadet Bone Spurs but the problem is, half the country is behaving like Michael Jackson fans, who refused to believe he was a child molester.

And Trump will just call her something like Amy Club-a-Seal and that will be that.

I know who she is from the Kavanaugh hearings, but honestly, now all I can think about when it comes to Klobuchar is her salad comb fork and scalp oil. Blech.

But if al Franken had stayed in the senate, republicans would have used the democratic parties defense of him to justify their support of Roy Moore.

I've heard she is pretty abusive towards her staff. We've seen enough of that with our current president. The sooner she drops out the better.

Today Senator Franken acknowledged that he could no longer serve in the Senate and resigned. As he and I discussed yesterday, this is the right decision. Senator Franken has worked for years on behalf of the people of Minnesota and he has been a leader on issues that are fundamental to Americans’ lives, including education, privacy, healthcare and mental health. He has been a friend to me and to many in our state.
As the women who have come forward to tell their stories across America have made clear, sexual harassment is never acceptable. In every workplace in America, including the U.S. Senate, we must confront the challenges of harassment and misconduct. Nothing is easy or pleasant about this, but we all must recognize that our workplace cultures—and the way we treat each other as human beings—must change.
For Franni, the Franken family, Senator Franken’s friends and supporters in our state, it’s a very tough day. Franken did nothing to warrant being driven out of the Senate. Yes - he showed some stupidity in a prank and should've been criticized for it. But the death penalty for his career ws way way way too much. He was a victim of the times and the environment.

If I remember correctly, the scandal surrounding al Franken occurred during the critical weeks leading up to the special election for Alabama’s senate seat, around the time of republican candidate Roy Moore’s own controversy. I think many Democrats saw that in such a close election, the democrats had to demonstrate how they were different from republicans. If Republicans were shown to tolerate Roy Moore, Democrats could win votes by showing how they would not tolerate similar behavior from one of their own senators.

Pyrrhic victory, Roy Moore is eyeballing a 2020 run, says the last one was "stolen".

A great Democratic statesman, killer deadly investigative abilities, possessed of a 1970's National Lampoon Magazine sense of decorum and maybe hugged a few women he shouldn't have, suddenly labeled a dangerous predator and sacrificed so that we could protect ourselves from an actual predator so bad that state troopers were assigned to watch him, a ***** grabbing dumb Alabama redneck who's probably going to get in anyway.

Yeah, sharp moves there.

Sorry, it's just one more example of Democrats snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
And right now we're screeching at each other over AOC and Omar, because Lord ****ing knows, when the asshats on the right start playing their fiddle, we start dancing to their tune.

At this rate, Trump is guaranteed to win. Any other great people we want to kill off? Should we just go with Republican Lite Joe Biden so we can move even further to the Right? Let's let Joe recriminalize pot and bring back the Three Strikes Law!
While we're at it, maybe he could even stand up for BARRING universal health care and we'll all cheer.

I think Franken did cross a line. Not with the prank. That vest had a steel plate in it. You can’t grope through a steel plate. The unwanted kiss after being told no did cross a line. No, nowhere near Weinstein levels of course.
