A different kind of March Madness pool: When will Trump tell his 10,000th lie?

President Trump passed an ignominious milestone during his weekend speech before the Conservative Political Action Conference over the weekend. According to a tracker kept by the Washington Post, Trump made more than 100 “false or misleading claims” over a span of two hours, a performance that pushed him over 9,000 lies in the first 773 days of his presidency through Sunday.

Which raises the question: When will Trump utter his 10,000th lie?

The man tells, what, about ~10 lies a day, so it's easy math to identify what number he's up to today and forecast, assuming a constant rate of lying, the date he'll tell the 10,000th. If the forecast doesn't hit the day spot-on, it'll most likely only be off by a week or so.

The short it that if he's at 9,000 now, it won't be long before he hits 10K, and no matter how inaccurate one's estimate, it doesn't matter because the typical person lies between 1-2 times a day; thus it takes most folks some 13 to 16 years, maybe more, to tell 10K lies. And therein is the problem with Trump...It's not the mere fact that he does lie that makes him unfit to be POTUS; it's that he so prolifically lies that makes him unfit to be POTUS.

Yes, and then when the Dem wins you will be complaining about how he lied about which shoe he tied first one morning. And we can savor the Democracy-killing shadenfreude of it all.

What smears will you have left? You said Obama lied about his religion, his place of birth, called him a racist, said he wanted to destroy America, called him the literal Anti-Christ. What's left? I guess I'll have the misery of seeing in a couple years, won't I just?

Man, you're working yourself up to a heart attack. I've said nothing about Obama when he was in office ... I've been on DP only a little over a year.

But now that you mention it ... yeah, Obama is a racist, a Muslim, he wanted to fundamentally transform the US of A, ... and nobody knows where his illegitimately-born scrawny arse first saw the light of this world.
