With all respect, it has always been propaganda.

I watched some Tucker racist Carlton last night.

He was at war with other networks. He kept claiming he (Fox) was the one true God.

EVERYONE else was the devil.

Conspiracy every way he looked.

What scares is me is all the deplorables that believe him. That refuse to look objectively at the media and realize the truth.

Fox news is a business and as long as there is money to be made by selling "meat" in the form of negativity, carefully presented 1/2 truths, faux-outrage and misinformation to cantankerous and afraid customers, they will continue to be successful.

Look at what they do to people they disagree with. They go to the places where these people go and make life unbearable for them, or they try to destroy them personally.

I don't remember right leaning politicians trying to destroy left leaning politicians for the eight years Obama was in control.

While fox is IMO the worst main stream media bar none with MSNBC being second (others can order them how they want but fox is among the worse main stream) i dont think its a critical issue. i do find bad media to be disruptive/destructive but the flip side of that is it doesnt make/create stupid people.

People that think Fox or other strong biased media or extremely biased media is true are broken already, some severely broken. Their ignorance and biased wasn't created by fox or news like it, its "feed". Now that can be an issue in its self, that these orgs (like the presidents political talking points) inspire and empower SOME whack jobs but it doesnt create them.

These orgs exist because they have people to feed, scare, shock, anger, inspire etc and it sells :shrug:

Not only that, but they have carefully crafted a "liberal" media bias with their viewers that culminated with Trump using "fake news" to down play every bad report that comes out. This was weaponized and used to damage the credibility, in the minds of conservatives, of real news media and has helped split this country even further. They truly are the enemy of the people, Trump claimed the media is.
 
If it wasn't for leftists watching Fox News to see if they say something wrong, I don't they would have the ratings they currently have.

It seems whenever there is a thread about something Fox News said, it is a lefty posting it.

Deplorables are failed subspecies of the great American.

They believe they are victimized instead of looking at themselves honestly. They see a conspiracy, as if all major networks have formed some sort of secret organization to quell truth. They believe Fox, which is the outlier, is truth.

Pretty insidious stuff this deplorable situation.

All emotion born of denial.

Of course, the irony of the more aggressive pragressive activism we are seeing these days is that they QUITE LITERALLY have adapted their tactics based upon the effectiveness the Tea People enjoyed at disrupting public meetings of prominent Democratic leaders and so-called "liberal" media figures aned intimidating them in public places (and even at their homes).

Chickens do come home to roost. And when they do, it's best not to whine like a bunch of hypocrites, you know?
