I will also point out that part he is editing out of his rant... which is 'conservative group alleges'.

In other words, a complaint by a conservative group is making to the FEC, but nothing has been shown to be true.

He is reporting it as a fact rather than an accusation by a partisan right wing group freaking out about her.
