She needs to step down from office. She is a trojan horse. She didn't get elected on this platform and is using her office to spew racist/hateful language.

What did she say now?

Even worse is that she LIED to get elected, or at least to be accepted as a Muslim who isn't crazy-azz pro-Palestine, anti-Israel, "river to the sea", BDS supporter.

No quote, no link....what did she say then? Or is this just a drive by posting?

What did she say now?

Her latest comments came during a town hall in Washington while speaking about liberal issues. “I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is okay for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country,” Omar said.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) is facing more accusations of making anti-Semitic remarks, with a senior member of her party rebuking the House freshman for words that he said conjured a “vile anti-Semitic slur.”

Rep. Eliot L. Engel (D-N.Y.), chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, has demanded an apology over comments Omar made Wednesday, less than a month after she was condemned by bipartisan leadership for suggesting that pro-Israel lobbying groups and Jewish politicians influence American politics.

A very hateful women.

Nancy Pelosi is derelict at this point. Omar should have been removed from the Foreign Affairs committee long ago.
At this point, her anti-Israel and yes, anti-Semitic beliefs are not in line with America.

What is this "vile, anti-Semitic slur"? “I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is okay for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country,” is not a slur.

The issue is the anti-Semitic trope that Jews have dual allegiance. It's offensive and Omar refuses to stop peddling in hate. Mostly, again, SHE LIED and misrepresented her position. Now that she's been elected, she hoists her anti-Israel flag daily.

So the hell what? She's allowed to have her own opinion about Israel, and in the US supporting Israel isn't a prequalification for holding an elected office.

Why do you hate freedom?

Nonsense

So if any Republican congressmen said ted lieu had duel allegiance towards Taiwan simply because he was born in Taiwan, you wouldn't have a problem with that?

She's appealing to her base...the NUMBER #1 TERRORIST RECRUTING DISTRICT in the US.....

Wha...? Apples to rutabagas.

Bucky once again someone stepped on your logic and is out there somewhere trying to clean it off his shoes.

Sorry to have to point this out but without mentioning Israel specifically can no longer be interpreted as an anti-Semitic trope. You can thank DonDon for that.

Now, the first comment she made left little to the imagination. This one....not so much. At some point if we are not careful there will be no room to say that the sky is blue.

It's Omar's contemporaneous comments that continue to reveal her deeply-held anti-Israel views. One can support Israel but not hold allegiance to Israel. What she's accusing Jews of is very bigoted. It's not like she's explaining WHY she disagrees with Israel-what exactly are the policies she has problems with. It's AMERICANS she is accusing of having dual allegiance.
This is very much a pro-Palestinian, pro-Hamas mindset and it has no place whatsoever in our government.
Her accusations are deeply offensive.

I didn't know she was from Alabama

Which Alabaman has killed over 3,000 Americans in one morning, murdered 50 gay men in a night club, set off a bomb at a marathon in a major metropolis, or slaughtered people with a vehicle in New York, or WENT OVERSEAS TO FIGHT AGAINST US FORCES WITH ISIS...etc., etc., ad nauseum?

You can fill it in here :______________________________________________________________________________

I like how the DP left cannot bring themselves to CONDEMN her GLARING ANTI-SEMITISM….

This is the same b.s. leveled against JFK. It's like saying his allegiance was to the Vatican, not America, and therefore, his dual allegiance would prompt him to not act in America's best interest.

I am sure you said the same thing when Irish backed the IRA. Or when people of whatever heritage support that country.

While I detest this women and she WILL be exposed for far greater racism, in this case, as someone who knows the Jewish community intimately in the US, most US born Jews do have dual loyalty to both Israel, and the US.. It's engrained in their children from birth, actually.

Just sayin for accuracy.

This is wildly bigoted.
You assume that Jews place equal loyalty to Israel because they are Jewish, and btw, there are many Jews who are not supportive of Israel and its policies.
Despite the fact that Israel is the only true democracy in the ME.
Despite the fact that Israel is a stabilizing force in the ME.
Despite the fact that Israel has been a great ally.

PS...why do you think Omar singles out Israel? Why not England? Germany? France?

I would just add, that if this junior congresswoman believes the way she does about dual loyalties, she must then agree with the President and back his proposal to end anchor babies? I mean, if she's being consistent and all.. ;) It is, afterall, exactly what the founding Fathers were discussing when stating "the jurisdiction thereof".. ;)
