Tump Kim talks: What to make of the Hanoi summit collapse?

So exactly how does this nuke get from NK onto a ship?

Well, one could postulate via shore to ship transfer in the middle of a container marked "Used clothing" or something equally innocuous.

I still don't get it.

Some ship just happens to be just floating close to the NK coast line and Instead of blowing it up, the NKs sails up to it, says "Please take this nuke and put it into a container and sail for the US"????

I know you keep harping on the idea that we shouldn't assume the NKs are stupid (which I don't) but maybe you shouldn't assume the US is stupid enough to not monitor the cargo ship traffic going in and out of NK

Obviously.

Or possibly some ship has been contracted by the DPRK to smuggle stuff in and out of the DPRK?

Nah!!! Could never happen.

I have no doubt that the US is making best efforts to monitor shipping in and out of the DPRK, but how big a vessel do you think that you would have to have in order to transport a nuclear device that is small enough to mount on a ballistic missile?

Obviously.

So once again, you're back to a ship bound to the US after leaving NK.

No, that couldn't happen

Nope, I'm "back to" there being cargo on a ship that did not come from the DPRK and that IS bound for the US.

No, that couldn't happen

One would hope that it WOULD not happen, but to say that it COULD not happen is pushing reality.
