President Trump on Monday blasted Spike Lee after the legendary director took a shot at him during his Oscars acceptance speech.

“Be nice if Spike Lee could read his notes, or better yet not have to use notes at all, when doing his racist hit on your President, who has done more for African Americans (Criminal Justice Reform, Lowest Unemployment numbers in History, Tax Cuts,etc.) than almost any other Pres!” Trump tweeted.

Lee, after winning Best-Adapted Screenplay for "BlacKkKlansman,” on Sunday night urged viewers to make the “moral choice” in the 2020 presidential race, as Trump seeks re-election.

“When we regain our humanity it will be a powerful moment,” the “Do The Right Thing” director read from his notes.

Spike Lee's was completely out of control last night. His antics were childish and shameful. He should apologize to Trump and the entire staff on the Green Book. The BlackKKKlansman wasn't a great movie IMO. He acted like he was at a sporting event.

Spike Lee is one of the most vulgar black men of high power in our country. Guy had zero class last night.
 
:roll:... Spike Lee has no reason to apologize to Trump, the Academy Awards has their own means of deciding who wins, and the social and economic numbers for minorities improving predates Trump.

If that's true, then he's a perfect match to Donald Trump, who is the most vulgar white man of high power in your country, and who also had zero class last night, or any other. They should be besties. Or something.

Spike Lee has threatened violence against Charles Heston and George Zimmerman. He has good points however takes things too far with his hateful rhetoric.

Sure you can...except that if that is what you were "refuting" you did a horrible job of it as you presented a straw man fallacy. Just as you did here with me with that last line as I never said you couldn't use your freedom of speech. You are again confusing criticism with denying free speech. Just because someone is criticizing you does not mean that they are attempting to deny your freedom of speech.

Actually, you're doing a horrible job getting up to speed on what's happening here. I would suggest you're the only person taking this discussion seriously. One more butthurt Trump supporter getting all bunched in the underpants is hardly cause for such seriousness. Let me see if I can help.
