Ken Wessel, a sponsor for the Boys and Girls Club of Indian River County and President of the John's Island Foundation, is one of the 173 people arrested or wanted in Indian River County for prostitution charges connected to a human trafficking sting.

Wessel, 75, of Vero Beach, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with soliciting prostitution. He has since been released on a $1,000 bail.

Another name on that list was John Havens, Citigroup Inc.'s former President and Chief Operating Officer. Robert Kraft and John Havens were on a list of 25 men being charged for soliciting prostitution in the city of Jupiter.

Not really suprising. These types of things have been going on for a while.
 
In the U.S., it is important that the government, whether federal, state ,or local, be accountable when they arrest citizens or other residents. They must be transparent as to who has been arrested and for what. This information is, and always has been, available to the public. It is the way that we prevent people from simply 'disappearing' at the hands of the government.

If a famous person happens to get caught up in a government investigation of criminal activity, well that's just too bad. The public will know.

Yeah,you’d think rich old white guys would use call girls. Maybe they were slumming. Sleazy all the way around. I hope the girls get the help they need.
