Bias is inescapable, and it's far from perfect, but mainstream US news sources go much further out of their way to report facts and limit the appearance of bias than any other country's news media that I have seen. Reporting news that makes the president look bad is not the same thing as reporting fake news, and it is not anti-Trump bias no matter how much his supporters want it to be. Disagree. Most of the media lean far one way or the other and search out only the facts that support their agenda. They are not fair or unbiased. When they want to take the other side down they keep firing.

Hate groups hit 20-year high; white supremacy definition up, SPLC says

The number of hate groups active in the USA rose to its highest level in two decades last year, according to an annual survey released Wednesday by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The count of active groups that the civil rights organization labels as espousing hate climbed to 1,020, up from 784 four years ago, and was propelled by a rise in extremism, the center said. From 2017 to 2018 alone, the tally rose 7 percent.

The groups range from white supremacists to black nationalists, neo-Nazis to neo-Confederates.

Yes, it has the potential to be fatal. The man is killing this once great country. The country was great - before he came along to pollute it.

I have to go to Europe again tomorrow night for a week of meetings. I used to look forward to it. Now I'm dreading it. I have to look at all my co-workers and customers knowing that they think our President is a piece of ****.

I should bring my "Don't blame me. I voted for Johnson." button with me.

"Left center bias" is not "far left." Factual reporting his high. Your own link shows that your assertion is completely inaccurate. NYT does NOT search out only the facts that support their agenda. Neither does any other mainstream news source. The reason you see it as non-stop firing on your side is because you've hitched your wagon to a misbehaving horse that your side unwisely adopted, and misbehaving horses are newsworthy. Trump's problems are not due to biased news. They are due entirely to his own incompetence.

Are there far left and far right leaning news sources in America? Of course there are. But they are not considered mainstream. The mainstream news media in the United States is closer to center than any other country's news media on earth.

Your state, like mine, went to Hillary Clinton (I live in NH). I didn't want that pile of **** Trump to be President either, even though I had never voted for anyone who wasn't a Republican for the previous 36 years.

Now thanks to Trump, I will never vote for a Republican again.

I said yesterday I may not vote for the Dem candidate if I can't support him or her. The posts on this board the last few days convinced me how stupid that is. I will vote for the Democratic candidate for President, and I don't care who it is. That man is a disgrace and he needs to go.

At this point, if you had a button that said I VOTED FOR THE GHOST OF ANDY KAUFFMAN it would look rational and eminently sensible.
 
And once again it’s worth pointing out, it’s not that he says it, that’s not real problem although it is obviously concerning.

It’s that his Trumpanzees back him on making such statement.

When such a massive portion of the population is so willing to follow him down this rabbit hole of thought, there is a worrying future ahead.

If tomorrow he could lock up every journalist that ever said anything against him, he would and many people on this board would cheer.

I'm trying. I want to. Badly. I joined the party for a reason. But I don't see any semblance in this GOP to the one I first joined. It's become the party of Trump. I'm starting to think it's too late. The party can only be saved if more people like me push against Trump and all of the idiots and garbage who allow him to do what he does.
