I think her reply to Cuomo is compelling. I would pose the same to any repub on this forum.

I challenge anyone to offer an argument that is stronger than the argument she raises.

That video reinforces that I didn't underestimate her. Feel like I estimated her just fine. Please keep cheering her on and keeping her front and center as a shining example of socialists reps!

Just a little note ... her 'answer' completely lacked any answer. It was just a lot of talk about how she feels we spend money immorally.

She still has it wrong, like every other politician she looks at the superficial. The only real answer is a shift from procedural focused medical practices to preventative care. It is not a question of expense, it is an issue of how we treat our bodies as a nation. She is merely mouthing the same old arguments that will only change who's in charge of payments. That is a very small part of the issues at hand. You are over estimating her. She's just another self serving politician who can't be trusted. She wants to be a R&R star. Dance away girl, you're still singing the wrong tune.

I want to be one of the first people to take the train to Hawaii!

You're not getting it at all. What the issue about is allowing those who do not have access to preventative care, i.e., affordable health care ( as opposed to ER care ) get it. Getting it to those who do not have it, so that they, as you say, can do preventative care.

That is the tune she is singing, which is a song the millions want to hear. I hate to break it to ya, There are more left of center than right of center.

You're simply out of tune.

I got it, she's just another self centered hack. It has nothing to do with left or right partisan BS. You don't get it either.

Preventative care starts with prenatal care for both prospective parents, revamping our education system with far greater emphasis on physical education, an investment in honest nutritional study inclusive of differentiating between food combinations for unique needs, and this would be just the start. She is not addressing anything new, revolutionary or evolutionary. Just another dullard full of crap. I'm speaking for the nation's real needs to be a better America and the realization of much lower costs by living healthier than ever before. She's offering nothing new. You are clueless. Just another superficial partisan.

A healthy America is a strong America, a productive America, irrelevant of politics. Healthy minds require healthy bodies.

That bolded above is a minority of the population. The majority of the population now get medical care insurance subsidies either from their employers or from existing government programs (Medicare, Medicaid, VA or PPACA). She never once stated how this M4A care would be funded other than by a (new unspecified?) tax which would allegedly be less expensive. Of course, for those now on Medicaid or VA nothing could be less expensive (to them) since they pay nothing now.

She is a breath of fresh air in a system stifled with corruption and special interests.

Maybe she can show us how she gets her groceries without using fossil fuel. I'd love to see her secret technology at work.

She lives in New York, so walking is probably an option.

How will you get your groceries when oil runs out?

Your argument is dishonest or merely foolish. If there are ways to reform provision of medical care, that reform should be undertaken irrespective of need for preventative health care.

Anyone that cant see thru AOC must have the IQ of a rutabaga!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Groceries dont come from the grocery store. Thats only where you buy them. I am unaware of people walking to and harvesting their food in NY without using fossil fuel.

You've subordinated thought processes to partisan sloganeering. I am not speaking of reforming healthcare, I am speaking of revolutionizing healthcare. You have no integrity whatsoever.

Your argument initially struck me as dishonest or foolish, since it is always a good thing to improve the delivery of health care when improvement is feasible. After your above deadhead comment I’ll go just with foolish.

She has a point.
Cost wise- it's pay an insurance company or pay the Govt.
I didn't listen to the whole thing, but another advantage of medicare for all is that it gets companies out of the insurance business, relieving them of a tremendous financial liability.
It would be akin to giving companies a massive tax break.

And we all know that this creates a prowth growth environment, which lead to more jobs.

you just stuck your foot in it.

So her first argument is that Medicare for all is cheaper than the current system. So lets just take a look at that claim (which well she has nothing to support it with other than she says so.). circular argument fallacy.
So the estimates for medicare for all is about 35 trillion dollars/10 years. lets just say 40 trillion due to overhead costs and it is government and nothing they do runs under budget.
as calculated even if you switch everyone over the amount of savings that you get over 10 years is about 10-15 billion dollars. so lets go with the high end margins of 15.
that means your medicare for all is still costing 25 billion MORE than now over 10 years. This is what experts have analysed and why bernies plan was shot down before it even got off the ground.

Her next argument is a ad poplum fallacy. so therefore it is automatically dismissed for what it is. well everyone else does it.
yep and their healthcare system is collapsing under the weight. the UK just canceled 50k surgeries that people needed.

The US already have a massive doctor shortage. also what that moron doesn't get is that no one is going to work for 40% less. lets cut her salary 40% and see if she
still wants to be a congressmen. also there is nothing that says doctors have to take your government healthcare and i doubt many will just do to that 40% cut.

so far she is batting 1000% is stupidity and easily shot down arguments.

next no one wrote a check for the tax cut. I highly question how she got her degree in economics. the government doesn't cut a check for tax cuts.
she doesn't know what she is talking about.

education funding is at the highest levels ever and well the results are pretty much crap.
teacher unions have more of a negative impact on education in this country than funding.

her energy plan is a complete crap. she shows that she doesn't know what she is talking about.
she only appeal to low information voters that have no ability to see beyond that hype and the
nonsense she spews.

that was 100% easy to shoot down.

no it won't. people will be scrambling to get gap coverage because medicare doesn't cover everything.
if it does then the cost skyrockets more than the 30 trillion they estimated.

they will also be scrambling to get insurance because no doctor will take their crappy government insurance.

Fortunately, it's not possible to underestimate her. Any member of Congress that doesn't understand something as basic as tax credits doesn't belong there.

I think what would happen is that gap coverage would be relatively inexpensive, thus many companies would stay out.
Doctors would forced to tale crappy govt insurance, no?

Health care is a big losing issue for Republicans. They bashed the crap out of the ACA but had no better alternative.
Until they do, single payer is inevitable.

Baby Cortez simply regurgitates stupid lying democrat talking points like a dumb dodo bird. "Universal healthcare will be much cheaper than private insurance." That is unproven and it should be pointed out that more educated experts do not support that nonsense mythical hype. Universal healthcare will cost trillions more than our present healthcare system no matter what the shiny new democrat crappy car salesman is trying to push.

"We will just get the rich to pay for the huge costs of our New Green Deal insanity." Nonsense. Democrats have had total control of Congress and the White House in the past and still exercise strong influence in the present and they never manage to bring the level of wealth of the richest billionaires in America down in any noticeable way whatsoever. While poor taxpayers pay more and more of their earnings to support pie in the sky global weather change nonsense, the levels of wealth of billionaires keeps climbing steadily. Democrats lie by telling people someday they are going to start taxing the rich in a different way. It hasn't happened before and they will not do it in the future.

How can we tax the rich like democrats say they intend to do? By taxing their savings? By raiding their foundations or extorting money from their trusts? They cannot do that without jeopardizing their own wealth locked up in foundations, trusts, and overseas tax shelters. So they lie. Continually. Because dumb people keep believing their stupid lies.

How is Baby Dumb Ox going to save the world from global climate disaster in 12 years? She does not have a clue. Her plan to wean America off cars, trucks and airplanes is the stupidest idea ever to be floated by an American politician but she is doing a bang up job trying to continue to defend her stupidity now that it is our there and she cannot afford to back up on the nonsense.

I have a way better alternative that will cover everyone and is cheaper, but gets you better results.

no gap coverage is going to go way up as many people will be searching for plans that will cover their doctors.
why? because no doctor is going to work for 40% less.

the only reason they take medicare patients now is because their insured patients cover the gaps because they get paid more.
without that there is no reason for them to take medicare insurance as usually it costs more to treat the patient than they get paid.

Maintain your subservience to a personality cult and forget about logic and the best interests of the nation. I expect no less from you. As a partisan hack you have nothing to offer.
