But we all know the REAL answer and that is Trump knows he's guilty as sin. He's desperate with fear of being discovered; his only hope is that they don't find enough proof.

In a real democracy, Trump would have had to resign pending his name being cleared.

You don't have a president, you have a king who cannot be charged with a crime!!

I have no idea what Ken Starr has to do with anything but an answer as to how and to what degree the Russians interfered in the last election would be good to know before the next one.

Great question..Time is long overdue to revisit Presidential powers and privileges. We profess 'no one is above the law in the U.S.". Yet there are those who say a sitting President can't be charged with a crime. That doesn't sound like good government policy to me at all. Indeed, it sounds like a recipe for potential disaster.

Just what planet do you live on. There've been multiple reports in over the past two years from several states that their voter data bases have been attacked by the Russian-based hackers (the IRA--Internet Research Agency, in St. Petersburg) the cyber arm of the Russian military intelligence (GRU). Those election boards could not determine that data was not stolen from those rolls. And we now know from the Mueller investigation that Manafort (and accomplices) were giving their campaign's raw polling data particularly to Russians who used that data to target populations particularly susceptible to trolling and rumor mongering against Clinton and Dems in general. It wasn't necessary to get direct access to voting booths to affect voting patterns either by encouraging Scumbag's base but more often pumping a steady gush of lies to discourage Dem voting. And it worked.

Obama's team said it had Russian meddling 'under control' until Trump won.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., said Thursday that senior Obama administration officials assured Congress in September 2016 that Russian meddling would not stop the U.S. from holding a legitimate election, but changed their tune after Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton.


After that happened, Democrats started arguing that Russian meddling was a huge threat to the legitimacy of the 2016 vote.
