lol...locked and loaded, Trump just handed everyone a gift.

Trump's emergency declaration may have laid the groundwork for his impeachment

No greater abuse of a public trust can be envisioned than the president usurping the power of Congress.

That, however, is precisely what President Donald Trump’s declaration Friday of a national emergency, in order to commandeer billions of dollars that Congress refused to appropriate to build a wall on the southern border, did.

Facts

Fascinating...

Yes, a yawn is exactly all which this hoopla at the border merits. It certainly is not a national emergency.

Facts

He would never be impeached for this. Period.

It's incredibly dumb by him to try this, but it's not something that his own party would impeach him for. In their mind he's simply using a law passed by congress that allows him to move around funding that's already approved. And if congress doesn't like it they can deny the move. The fact that the legislation requires an emergency and this is not an emergency by any meaning of the word will not convince any republican to vote for something as drastic as impeachment.

Obama usurped the powers of Congress when he gave the dreamers amnesty.

Yeah! And what about how Lyndon Johnson used to act? What about that?

You guys whine like children about Trump yet all nodded in approval when Obama waved his pen around. Just pointing out the hypocrisy.

Jesus. That's the go-too fallback whenever another Trumpster wants to beak off but hasn't got anything to say. Deflect to Obama or Clinton. And as a bonus, try to make the poster you reply to the subject at the same time. Talk about whining, damn, when are you going to get over the fact that a black Democrat from Chicago got elected President, twice?
"Look! A bear!"

Just like the hypocrisy now when some of you guys whined like children about Obama yet nod in approval when Trump waves his pen around or goes on vacation constantly.

It really just shows the rest of us how partisan some of you are.

Some of us actually warned of the dangerous precedent Obama was setting, but no one on the left cared. Now you care, but now its too late.

They won't impeach him over this. What he did was stupid, and fraudulent, and misappropriated funds (although Graham said the kids in Kentucky need a wall more than schools), and what he did will catch up with him, but he won't be impeached over this. I don't see him being impeached at all, as long as the GOP controls the Senate.

I'd worry more about 2020 if he wins the election and they don't hold the Senate, though. I mean I'd worry if I were Trump.

But wait, I thought Mueller was going to take care of the whole impeachment thingy. Given up on him have you?

Yep. Schiff for Brains is taking over the "Get Trump, for ANYTHING" outrage.

I had to look that one up about Graham and wow the stupid is real with that one.

So you oppose Trump calling a fake national emergency?

I havent read the law that congress passed in the 70's that allows for a president to make such declarations, so I dont have an opinion yet.

So if Obama had simply called DACA a national emergency (which it wasn't, any more than Trump's emergency is an emergency), you would have supported it.
