Oh IDK, back when I went to a LOT of grateful dead concerts I saw many people in many different cults.

It did not make them bad people, they were just searching for a better life in the wrong places.

Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein to step down in March: official


WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Rod Rosenstein, the U.S. deputy attorney general who appointed a special counsel to investigate possible ties between Russia and President Donald Trump's campaign, is expected to step down by mid March, a Justice Department official said on Monday.Rosenstein had been expected to depart shortly after new Attorney General William Barr assumed office. Barr was confirmed for the role by the U.S. Senate last week.The Justice official said Rosenstein's departure was not related to renewed allegations that he considered wearing a wire in meetings with Trump and using the 25th amendment of the U.S. Constitution to remove the president from office.

Last September, the New York Times reported Rosenstein in 2017 had suggested secretly recording Trump and recruiting Cabinet members to oust the president using the provisions of the Constitution's 25th Amendment. In an interview broadcast on Sunday with CBS News "60 Minutes," former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe confirmed the Times account that Rosenstein considered wearing a wire in meetings with Trump.

Its going to be wrapped up soon unless Mueller keeps going after low hanging fruit. But Mueller or no Mueller, the other coup investigations will proceed.

We have not known when Rosenstein is leaving, nor do we now. There have been conflicting reports. We will find out when it happens officially. People need to stop believing every random thing they read on the internets they want to be true...

I think McCabe's interview was pretty much a dare to go ahead and try it. This investigation will continue one way or another and there seems to be plenty of safeguards and splinter investigations that anyone trying to run interference for Trump at this point is probably risking legal jeopardy themselves. Once Barr is fully read in he's going to realize how truly ****ed Trump is.

There have been reports of Rosenstein resigning since September of last year before Sessions resigned in November.

It doesn't come as any surprise that Barr would choose someone else as his deputy. Barr made it very clear he planned to investigate the FISA abuse and wrongdoing of the DOJ/FBI during his confirmation hearing and Rosenstein was part of that abuse.

From the flimsy excuses to even open up the counter-intelligence investigation on Trump, his family and campaign, the abuse of un-maskings, the FISA abuse, the media leaks,...... I would not be surprised to see Barr convene a grand jury, appoint a tough prosecutor and subpoena all those involved. This has been an outrageous abuse of power and people need to be held accountable including Rosenstein.
