Mike Pence'''s daughter Audrey got engaged in '''one of the most famous Gay resort towns''' [Video]

Vice President Mike Pence is celebrating the engagement of his daughter Audrey, 24. But people are speculating that he may not be too happy about the fact that the proposal from her college boyfriend, Daniel Tomanelli, took place in the “gay-centric” town of Provincetown, Mass.

'P-Town' is a gay haven on the tip of Cape Cod. Should make for some interesting chat around the dinner table when she brings home her intended to meet her folks.

There is some very interesting irony there.

P'town is one of the most beautiful towns in New England. The best shops, restaurants, hotels and galleries. But if you're a homophobe (like her parents are), you wouldn't want to be there.

I agree with you. Visited several times. Great town but a long drive.

How is this even worthy of comment?

I mean... there's also straight people there.

Very long drive. But so worth it. I won't go there in the summer - too crowded. But I love it this time of year and off season. All the artwork in our house that didn't come from Europe came from P'town.

When gays get married or hooked up around here, they go to Ognunquit Maine. P'town is for the single folks.

:lamo

This time Pence got to do the nipple-twisting to liberals ... and it's hilarious to watch. :lamo

How is the daughter of a well known homophobe getting engaged in a gay-centric town not worthy of a comment? No one was called gay nor was it implied. They may have been invited there by gay friends. I don't think a couple entering into a heterosexual union are gay. But it will likely result in some interesting conversation in the Pence household.

Wellll ... I didn't think it was worthy of comment earlier, so I had closed the thread and moved on. But now that you're posting here, you let me know that obviously it IS worthy of comment. Thanks for the heads up.

I suspect that was the point....

Respect for the daughter and her boyfriend if the idea was to flip Pence the bird.

This has to be a joke played on Mikey Pence. Has to be.

WTF difference does it make WHERE she got engaged?

Slow news day?
Truly, who cares?

Provincetown is beautiful, but I had no idea it was considered "gaytown." Wouldn't have made a difference to me, other than to tell Hubs as we were driving through. I am always peppering him with useless information.

Is there like...a gay test, or ally test, you have to do to enter the town or something?

All it takes for you to think it worthy of comment is me thinking it's a nothing story? The pettiness of your post knows no bounds.

It's pretty obvious the minute you get to P-Town that anyone homophobic is not going to have a very good time.

Pence's extremeness on gender makes this a story which it would not be if not for his illness.

What does "extremeness on gender" even mean, and what does that have to do with a heterosexual engagement?

You take Trump obsessions to heights unreached previously. I'm guessing the Pence household couldn't care less.
