Yes. It is very telling that the subject of the thread uses the words "may have committed treason". If we had a nickel for every "may have" Trump has supposedly done, we would be one percenters.

Nance is making a valid point, one I have been trying to put into words for some time.

The president is acting like a guilty person.

That's it. And in the back of everyone's head, despite party affiliation HAS to be wondering why?

And there is a second problem and that's Trump's opponents who jump on the flimsiest of reports as though a trial has started!

Let me say this. Donald Trump will NOT be impeached...whether he appears to have committed treason or not. He will not be charged with anything and Mueller's report is likely to damn him with feint praise as anything.

Just as Trump's childish antics drive a stake into his integrity, so do the over reactions of liberals.

I didn't say anything about what Trump may have done. If you knew what this thread was about, you would know that Malcolm Nance said it. Not me. This thread was from yesterday. Are you having trouble keeping up?

Now, why don't you tell us why Nance is wrong? Not have a meltdown about other posters or Mueller.

By the way, I'll anxiously await your answer to my post about the trolls on here you're referring to.

18 U.S. Code § 2381. Treason

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

The words "traitor" and "treason" are bandied about too easily these days. I'm curious if what Trump did is considered treason, as far as what Nance identified as potential treason. Is it? No idea what the playbook says - if there is even one.

I do agree with you that Trump's behavior is certainly suspect.

I had to pop Mr. Nance's bubble but I think it is far more likely recent disclosures are cause people to think the treason abides in the DOJ, the FBI and some other agencies in our government. Exercising First Amendment rights is not Treason.
