MUNICH — Speaking on German soil 75 years after the U.S. and its allies prepared for D-Day, Joe Biden described America as "an embarrassment" and its trade policies "self-defeating."

"The America I see values basic human decency, not snatching children from their parents or turning our back on refugees at our border. Americans know that’s not right,” the former vice president and potential 2020 Democratic presidential candidate told the Munich Security Conference. "The American people understand plainly that this makes us an embarrassment. The American people know, overwhelmingly, that it is not right. That it is not who we are."

Biden, 76, speaking at the annual gathering of foreign policy leaders, didn't mention Trump by name. But, despite a longstanding tradition of politics "stopping at the water's edge" and refraining from criticizing a commander-in-chief while on foreign soil, Biden took the opportunity to blast him, even veering into criticism of domestic policy as he launched into what sounded like a stump speech."

While technically not treason, he certainly became the Democrat's #1 USA-Hater.

So, do you think he was paid by Russia, China, Iran and North Korea for his traveling to our #1 NATO ally for the purpose of attacking the United States in his role as a former Vice President?

How horrible that we be deporting people who are illegal immigrants.

Joe Biden is an embarrassment to this country.

I'll take an ugly truth over a flattering lie any day.

Trump has turned the US into a laughingstock. I guess some people aren't getting that.

The Democratic Party is unique in the world. I know of NO other political party of any country whose leaders travel around the world trashing their own country and their own government - empowering our enemies by doing so.

And remember folks, these same people didn't even bat an eyelash when Trump says something like this:

"We need a President who isn't a laughing stock to the entire World."

"China, OPEC and Russia laugh at us. But now thanks to Obama so does Syria. Very sad!"

"The people of South Carolina are embarrassed by Nikki Haley!"

"3 Chief of Staffs in less than 3 years of being President: Part of the reason why @BarackObama can't manage to pass his agenda."

"Obama's complaints about Republicans stopping his agenda are BS since he had full control for two years. He can never take responsibility."

"Obama is truly a pathetic excuse of a president, can't get any worse."

"For a lazy person he [Obama] certainly has done a lot of destruction to our country."

"Our nuclear arsenal doesn't work!"

All DJT quotes. And he DID mention the president by name. Now explain to us how this is different.

The Germans call Biden "Frank Furter"

Refraining from criticism of a commander in chief while on foreign soil?
Wow, it is stunning to hear Trumpians attempt to use that trope.
Not surprising, but nevertheless STUNNING.

The only people who aren't getting that are complete bozos.

Unfortunately for us, Trump's presidency has revealed to the world that the United States has far more bozos than anybody suspected.

In all candor, I am not sure how out-of-line Biden was. Decorum and political rules have changed so drastically in the last 18 years, starting not less than 30 days after 9/11 with bitter recriminations. And I doubt the American people like each other enough to care - the impact of the demographic and ideological divide having created two (or three or four) nations within our borders wherein the concept of who the American people are or want in any collective sense seems moot.

Airing domestic contempt for your own leadership may be consider crass if you were a Brit or Gaul, but its now 'who Americans are' - sadly.

As for the substance of the content of Biden's speech, well, its more disingenuous raw meat for the public. "Who we are" or have been until the interests of foreign nationals replaced that of the American people is undisputed; a people that was more than willing to do a lot more than separate children from their unlawful and uncompliant parents.

Eisenhower's Operation Wetback, one of the most Americanist domestic policies ever developed, show who we have been - Biden is simply showing who he wants us to be...weak and spineless door mats for illegal aliens.

And remember folks, these same people didn't even bat an eyelash when Trump says something like this:

And Trump stood on foreign soil and declared that he trusted Putin's word over the findings of American intelligence agencies.

"But Biden."

Considering you jokers praised Trump when he stood on foreign soil and proclaimed that all of our intelligence agencies are lying and that he believes Putin over them, you don't really care about America, only partisanship. Trump has made the US a laughing stock to the rest of the world, and that is a fact. We have taken a TREMENDOUS hit in our credibility over the last two years and our once allows are beginning to see us as the enemy.

Vice President (he does not like the word "former" used to describe himself) Biden is 100% correct.

Our country is, indeed, an "embarrassment" if the polls are correct that he is the leading contender for the Democratic nomination.

Are the Democrats that desperate?
