I remember the GOP complaining that Obama was becoming a dictator, but Obama never over reached as far as Trump has and the GOP is so afraid of Trump's stupid supporters that they have stood back and allowed it. After this fiasco, Trump will figure that he can do as he wants. because the GOP controlled Senate will never vote to stop him. It will continue unless and until the Dems take total control of congress and put a stop to it. What has happened to the GOP I used to vote for. They have become the party of Trump and have lost any backbone they ever had. And now that he has found a means to do as he wants and it will not stop here for Trump. We are becoming a third rate dictatorship and maybe that is the end game for the wealthy of this country.

So far Trump has tried to enforce laws passed by the Congress,

cut tax rates for all Americans who pay taxes and

reduced the strangulation on our actions by cutting back the Federal Registry by about 35% of the regulations that were there when he took office.

By any measure, he is reducing the Control of the Feds on our actions and letting us keep more of the money we earn to spend as we see fit to accomplish our personal goals.

In addition, the Federal Tax Revenues are up, our allies are getting more real support from us militarily and we are withdrawing from the killing fields in the Middle East.

What of this is bad for you?

You can complain all you want but after the joke of a bill that they just passed which was supposed to be a compromised negotiation your complaint goes to deaf ears. Just yesterday the left was celebrating how they beat Trump now the facist left can choke on it.

There is no GOP now. It is the Trumpist party.

As for a dictatorship, I doubt that it will happen. However, I wouldn't be surprised if his cult supports a much more powerful executive branch as long as the orange fool is president.

What has Trump done that has injured you in any way?

Do you support declaring a national emergency to fund a project that congress specifically rejected? I'll be ignoring deflections, so don't waste your time.

I will give two examples. The first is he has reduced regulations that will effect negatively the environment that I and my children and their children will have to live in. Two examples of this are that he is allowing a poison cancer causing pesticide to be used by farmers. Second he has reduced regulations that allow coal plants to spew more toxic smoke into our air. The second which even more hits home is the reduction in the people looking after our food supply. All of this to increase the profits that go mainly to the very rich. I could go on about allowing drilling and mining in national parks and off shore, but this is limited to just two things that he has done that effect me and my family.

I support all lawful measures, like this one, to support and defend the Constitution of the US.

If the Congress didn't want the President to have these powers, maybe they shouldn't have voted to give him these powers.

The way I look at the responsibilities of the Federal Government, they need to defend the borders, maintain domestic tranquility and deliver the mail.

The third one is optional...

The whole debate about the southern border checks off two of the boxes.

so, you will also support a Democratic president doing an end run around congress to address the national emergency of climate change?

not me. i support curtailing the unilateral powers of the executive branch. the silver lining of the Trump debacle is that he has shown us where the flaws in our checks and balances are.

We've been a fiat dictatorship since Dubya signed Presidential Directive 51 back in 2007...

The primary flaw in our checks and balances is that the Congress seems to like to abdicate their authority and responsibility to perform their Constitutionally mandated duties.

That said, though, the President is only doing what the Constitution demands of him.

The law says he can employ these steps. The Constitution demands that he do so. Since he started the campaign for president, Trump seems to be one of the few people in politics who's trying to follow the law.

Lord knows, with the hate radiating from all political entities, if he was even the least bit culpable, someone would have found something by now.

Is the left losing its ****ING MIND(s) over a POTUS who is immune to their and the FAKE NEWS's bull****, and continues forward in placing the interest of AMERICANS FIRST?

Obviously.

Obama stopped the opening of a Boeing plant to placate his union followers in Seattle.

Obama raided Gibson Guitar for the same reason.

What is it that you have dreamed that Trump has done that is an overreach?

Have the Republicans become the party of Trump? Probably so. I hope they manage to stay that way.

By becoming the party of Trump, they are also the party of Reagan and Kennedy. Except that Kennedy was far more war loving than Trump will ever be.

A rising tide lifts all boats.

As long as the President follows the law, he is following the law.

What are you asking?

cool. i'll look forward to our discussion if that happens.

First link: The cited ban was never in place. Therefore, there is no impact on you.

Second link: The Cited ban was recently ruled to be "not 'appropriate and necessary' — a legal benchmark under the country’s landmark Clean Air Act." There were no stats on whether or not there was a real-world health impact of benefit.

Third link: There was no permanent prohibition in place. The three year, temporary moratorium plopped out by Obama as he left office in 2016 was lifted.

Fourth link: Simply an idea- Nothing has happened on this.

Apparently, according to your links, there has been no real world negative impact on you due to the reduced regulation.

Regarding coal fired power plants, Coal Fired Power Plants continue to close down at a record setting pace as they age themselves out of efficiency. This is really a by-gone issue.

I could only find one example of a new coal power plant being built in the US. It's a little one that is using cutting edge Carbon recovery technology to test feasibility.

Remember when the left touted their phone and pen? What happened?

What law has he broken in the real world?

i can speculate, but let's wait for Mueller's report for now. either way, i'll look forward to our discussion when a national emergency is declared by the next Democratic president.

Waiting for Mueller's report is like waiting for Godot.

Think about it.

Don't you wonder if the Congress might pass a law to restore the integrity of their powers?

If they don't pass such legislation, do you wonder why they would not?

It seems like Congress is finally waking up to the reality that they are supposed to be doing something. Something! Anything!

For the love of God! These Bozos have been legislating away their authority and responsibility for decades and now they scream that they have too little authority and responsibility. Bozos!

Regarding the Mueller report, he was sent on Witch Hunt to find a crime that was not specified committed by a target that was specified.

I'm pretty sure the report will say that the target of the investigation is really, really guilty but, sadly, it seems, he committed no crime.
