No but when I am typing I sometimes press a key by accident that my fingers are over. Especially on the hand I cut the nerve and tendons to. Never really healed back right. Sometimes cold water feels hot and I jerk my hand out from under the faucet. Sometime I will drop things also because I guess the connection is not good. The doctor says I should be thankful I can use them at all for how many times I have broken my fingers and thumbs.

So you say most of the illegals fly into our country and nobody even checks them as they go through customs at the airport. I remember standing in line for hours coming back from other countries waiting to go through check points. I guess they only do this to citizens. I should have told them I was an illegal alien and they would have let me right in.

I appreciate you being patient and nice despite my rather unpleasant replies. I just can't buy it. Immigrants crossing at a base? Why? They didn't know it was there? How could that be.

I don't mean anything personal. It's just a bit much. And the spelling doesn't inspire cred. Words people are familiar with they rarely if ever misspell.

The base was Ft Huachuca Arizona. Our base is at the base of the Huachuca mountains. There are fresh water streams that flow out all year long so it was a good place for a base back when. These mountains also sit right on the border between Mexico and the USA. Rather than travel across the desert floor where there is no water and temperatures above 100 they would skirt the mountains where their was water and cooler temperatures at the higher elevations. The fences we had on our base where were only in areas where roads entered our base. But a lot of the base was ranges where different military units did desert training from time to time. Just the fact that there was thousands of square miles of nothing was a barrier in of itself. Plus there was little or no cover so we could spot someone 60 miles away from a vantage point. They would try to stay in dried up river beds and gulches but we would spot them easily. Plus the border patrol was stopping them in areas outside the military reservations. That drove a lot of them onto the post. I would meet up with the border patrol a lot of times at the border and we would watch them come in. The border patrol was way under manned and as soon as they went down and caught a bunch the path was clear for the rest of them for most of the day.

I even have spell checker and I have no idea where some of the words come from. I will read back something I typed and I can't figure out how that word got there. I am getting too old for all this technology. I got a new phone and I could not find where it showed me my new phone number which I needed to give the doctors office. lucky their was some kid playing away on his so I handed him the phone and a second later there was my phone number. I guess you shouldn't give a smart phone to a dumb ass.

The family decided I needed a new phone. I think they just want my minutes or data since I don't use it for much more than a phone. I will surprise them and figure this thing out. Then I will make sure I use my fair share. I have 8 year old nephew who will teach me because he has figured out the value of money. I figure a dollar a lesson is the going rate.

Life is too short to let a forum get you upset. Especially when you get older and all your friends are dying from some terrible things. Or they are perfectly healthy sitting in a nursing home and don't even know who they are looking at in the mirror. I am thankful every morning I still know who I am and I can wipe my backside.

The President's inability to gain an Appropriation for something he wants is not a National Emergency. Its not more complicated than that.

The weakest constitutional argument Trumpets have in this is this insistence on referring to the text of the National Emergency Act of 1976.

Bills and statutes extend or append to the Constitution. They are not in conflict with the Constitution. If they are in conflict with the Constitution they are....unconstitutional and are understood to be so.

Hence, the National Emergency Act of 1976 did not have to spell out the conditions of National Emergency as it relates to the President's inability to gain an Appropriation for something he wants. There is NOTHING in the National Emergency Act of 1976 that overrides Article 1 legislative powers including the power to determine how much in taxes will be collected and how federal funds will be appropriated. There is nothing in the National Emergency Act that allows a President to usurp the Article 1 powers of the Legislature.

That said, the number of holes in Trump's National Emergency declaration and follow on EO's are big enough to drive a truck through aside from the Constitutional issue. The funds he wants to grab and how he wants to grab them not to mention his slippery sidestep of the border issue by pushing the Eminent Domain and other border property related responsibilities at DoD are all major problems.

Again, I would suggest that this National Emergency declaration is the surest evidence we have that Trump is had has been unserious about THE WALL since it was incubated as a campaign rant. "Mexico will pay for it" is the other solid sign that it was never a serious consideration for Trump....just campaign gibberish.
