Trump in 'very good health overall' but obese, according to physical exam results

At his physical exam last year, the 6-foot-3-inch Trump weighed 239 pounds, according to his doctor. Trump, who has a common form of heart disease, embarked on a mission last year to lose some weight.

Now, the President weighs 243 pounds, an increase of 4 pounds, according to the physical examination results. That weight now puts Trump's body mass index, or BMI, at 30.4, which makes him clinically obese.

I was wondering if this year's physical would rubber stamp the lie that Trump is 6'3".

When he claimed to be 6'2" for his driver's license, that was already a tall tale. And a man doesn't grow an extra 1" in height in his 70's.


I'm surprised that the CNN reporters cited the lie as if it is fact but I guess they didn't feel they needed to quibble about it since not even medical staff winking at his lies about his height is enough anymore for him to escape being officially obese.

Can you explain why the President's physician would lie about how tall he is?

Well, Ronnie Jackson did last year because he was a total suck-up. A suck-up of loony proportions.

My guess for this year is that the medical staff were conscious of how much embarrassment it would be to the president if they corrected the record, so they just did what most nurses do when you go in for your physical. While you're on the scale, they ask your height and they write down what you say without getting out the ruler.

It's so odd to me that people come up with these silly theories. So the medical staff for the president knows his height is a lie, but they're just going with it anyway. Because....? What even is the point of lying about his height anyway?

There is no lie too big or too small ... or too stupid ... for Trump.


He's all the time putting people who serve him in awkward positions having to back up his lies or embarrass him, and mostly they choose not to embarrass him. But it doesn't change the fact that for some reason this probably 6'1" man felt so insecure about his height that he is making the government lie about it for him.

The last one later said Trump wrote the report. If he's six three he's 2" taller than Obama (he's not) and an inch taller than Justin Trudeau. (not in any picture I've seen) it's ridiculous puffery to his ego. THAT'S massive!

Trump has stood next to a LOT of celebrities.

When that b.s. about him being just tall enough so that his 239 pound wait wasn't technically obese came out, twitter lit up with pictures of Trump next to those celebrities who were actually 6'3".

So, again, why would he lie about it? Good question. Why does he lie so much? Why do his supporters deflect so much from his lies? I do wish people in the government would be firm in rebuffing his lies, but they give deference to the office, even if the man holding the office doesn't deserve it.

Yeah, yeah, don't believe your lying eyes. Don't believe all those pictures with Trump standing next to celebrities which show he's shorter than 6'3". Those pictures weren't planted on the internet to support a conspiracy theories. Those pictures show that that Trump is about the same height as 6'1" Obama and not as tall as 6'2" Trudeau, and significantly shorter than 6'3" athletes, and almost towered over by 6'4" Bill O'Reilly.

He is not 6 ft 3. Maddow had several pictures of him standing next to 6 ft 2 and 6 ft 3 persons, and they all towered over him.

Because if you are taller, your BMI will be smaller when you calculate it based on your height and weight, so Trump may appear merely overweight instead of obese.

But he is not taller than Obama's 6.1.
Trump is obese.
Obese = unhealthy.
With his diet of Big Macs, he should watch out for a heart attack or a stroke.

Trump is only 6'3" if he is adding the height of his ego to it.

But now he weighs so much that not even lying about his height saves him from being classified as obese.
