You know, I keep hearing people like you talk about "when the Dems get back in power...I'm assuming they think a Dem will become President sometime soon...they'll declare a national emergency on guns".

Tell me, what do you think that Dem President will be able to do? Ban guns? Require national registration? Do you think that President can repeal the 2nd Amendment?

I don't think you really understand what a President can do after declaring a national emergency. But I'll tell you one thing that President cannot do...make new laws.

There have been 58 national emergencies declared since 1979 but this one, designed to protect the border, is the one the left has a problem with.

But the fact Pelosi tweeted that is just evidence the Democratic Party is planning a dictatorship next time they win, and therefore Trump should declare a national emergency proscribing the Democratic Party

We know for a fact that the vast majority of those things pass through legal points of entry. Why do you choose to ignore reality?

That'll be great PR, not only for Trump but for the coward McConnell too.

So, I'm sure there's a Democrat out there with an agenda you're just itching to see implemented, who understands the ins and outs of the Act and has now been given the green light by Trump's irresponsible precedent.
