El Paso Police's OWN DATA Shows Trump is Absolutely Correct About Crime and the Wall There

Grok has got to hold the record for largest number of fail threads. :lamo

If your Christian values lead you to supporting walls instead changes in the law that would allow these desperate people to work here legally then it's no wonder fewer and fewer people are identifying as Christian.

You seem to support the idea that the flow of illegal immigrants should not be slowed or stopped until Congress passes laws making it legal for them to work.

Yes, I support changing the one thing making them illegals with a stroke of a pen then spending years building a wall in a futile attempt to slow illegal movement across the border. The question is why don't you. What part of Christianity advocates denying desperate people shelter and comfort and opportunity for a better life?

Making the legal immigration system accessible would reduce the need to cross illegally, yes.

A wall alone cannot stop anyone other than unaccompanied children not strong enough to use ladders. A wall alone can impede border crossings only if by "impede" you mean "add 3 minutes to their journey."

U.S.-Mexico border: Migrants use ladder to scale wall near Yuma

My favorite quote from this article:

Jose Garibay, CBP Yuma sector spokesperson:
"Those saying that if we build a 30-foot wall, that you'll build a 31-foot ladder, and it's not true," he said. "Because you'll need two 31-foot ladders because you not only have to go up, but you have to come down on the other side. And as you saw, it is a long drop from 18 feet." (emphasis mine.)

So in other words: a thirty foot wall would add maybe another 2 minutes to their journey.

Here's an article from Breitbart of all places:

Report: Illegal Immigrants Using Strategically Place Ladders to Cross Border | Breitbart

Not only could any third grader see that walls alone are worthless, any third grader could get past a border wall with almost no effort in the company of an adult of average strength.

Border agents say walls are effective. It is democrat politicians and biased media dummies who claim otherwise.

No they don't.

If you take in a poor family member into your home so he does not have to sleep in the cold, it will cost you. But if you take in a thousand poor family members needing help it will likely ruin you. Is America cold hearted for not taking in 5 or 6 billion poor people from around the world? I don't think so. We are already struggling as a nation trying to give the illegals who are already here support for them and their families while they try to find a way to survive.

We have to start cutting expenses or our debt will totally sink us. The Center for Immigration Services has come up with a net loss to the US treasury of more than $100 thousand per illegal immigrant over their lifetime. That's a lot of money, and money the US cannot keep donating to the budget busting open border democrat cause.

And that's only because they are resistors of anything Trump. The left are liars.

Well, well, well...looks like the claims of the FAKE NEWS/LYING LEFT/LYING LEFT "FACT FAKERS" in regards to crime in El Paso, BEFORE and AFTER THE WALL...are TOTAL BULL****. :poke

President Trump's statement are PROVEN TRUE, BY EL PASO'S OWN POLICE DATA.

El Paso Police's OWN DATA Shows Trump is Absolutely Correct About Crime and the Wall There

Here is the El Paso crime data from LOCAL POLICE DATA, who know more about it than anyone.

UNALTERED, UNEDITED from a SOURCE WITH NO POLITICAL AGENDA IN THIS MATTER.

Crime in El Paso, Texas (TX): murders, rapes, robberies, assaults, burglaries, thefts, auto thefts, arson, law enforcement employees, police officers, crime map

Notice that the El Paso total crime rate was HIGHER THAN THE NATIONAL AVERAGE (280.5), at 364.4 in 2002, (earliest year in the data), and STAYED HIGHER UNTIL 2007, when it dropped to 279.5, (after the wall was began)...and then has DROPPED EVER SINCE, CONTRARY TO THE FAKE NEWS/LEFT LIES.

As of 2016 it was at 199.7 FAR LOWER THAN THE NATIONAL AVERAGE, and EVER FARTHER BELOW THE PRE WALL CRIME RATE IN EL PASO.

WHY HAVE THE FAKE NEWS/LYING LEFT/LYING LEFT "FACT FAKERS" BEEN LYING ABOUT THIS INFORMATION???

Or are the EL PASO POLICE LYING? Der....

FYI, news organizations don't produce fake news to convert you. I think they view people like you as a lost cause because you're going to fact-check what they say. I don't believe them about much.

They do it to because they can trick their loyal followers into believing anything. And that's exactly what it's for.

And that's only because they are resistors of anything Trump. The left are liars.

How can you claim "the left are liars" when it's been established that Trump lied about the El Paso crime statistics?

Trump says wall construction has already started and the new slogan is "Finish the Wall." Do you believe him?

These people don't want to come here to leech off the American people. They come here for jobs and opportunity. No one can claim with a straight face that Mexicans and south Americans in general are lazy. They are some of the hardest working people I know. You conservatives can't seem to keep your stories straight, one minute they are taking American jobs and the next they are coming to take advantage of our welfare. It isn't very Christian of you to demagogue and lie.

So are West Africans. The Hispanics can WAIT THEIR TURN, TOO....

Making the legal immigration system accessible would reduce the need to cross illegally, yes.

Making cocaine legal would have bad consequences and making illegal immigration legal would do little to reduce the negative costs associated with incorporating tens of thousands and growing numbers of poorly skilled illegals into society.

Even if that was true, your saying we should listen to the "border experts" but I suspect when it comes to climate change then we dismiss the experts amd rely on politicians and oil cooporations for our climate truth? You can't have it both ways.

Don't be snide. I did not say immigrants are lazy. I have worked illegals. I have a lot of respect for illegals. And I know as the US welcomes in tens of thousands of new illegal immigrants every year it also saddles itself with huge costs providing food, shelter, schooling, healthcare and other needs for all those not yet making money to pay their own way. If it is against the law for them to work in the US then why do democrats want them to keep coming unless they intend to take care of them at government expense?

I'll go with what HER BOSS SAYS, thank you.

Yeah, screw the opinion of the lady in the field over the guy who has become a glorified paper pusher with an agenda to push, right?

We all know that the boss in most offices is the smartest guy about what they are doing.....

You know I read your previous link. Let's ignore the fact that the center that produced the report that says illegals are a net drain on society is listed as a hate group by the SPLC, and that the organizations founder, John Tanton is pro eugenics and anti immigrant, lets ignore all that for the moment and deal with its questionable claim that illegals are a net drain on society. You yourself admit that Mexican illegals are hardworking people, so when I read a report that says hard working people can't make ends meet without needing assistance from American citizens my first thought is that wages need to raised because people who work as hard and long as they do should earn enough to provide for their families, not that we need to kick them out of the country and make sure they don't come back. Must be those devout Christian values of yours.

Are you suggesting that if border control agents are erroneous quacks then Mueller and secular fiction science alarmists are also quacks?

Border walls will not stop all illegal crossings but they will certainly slow foot traffic, just as Jim Acosta demonstrated when he went down to examine their effectiveness.

Are you suggesting that if border control agents are erroneous quacks then Mueller and secular fiction science alarmists are also quacks?

No, he is suggesting that you guys are really quick to decide WHICH quacks you are willing to throw your lot in with.

Its not surprising, by the way.

Are you suggesting the US government provide wage subsidies to illegal immigrants still suffering from poverty? Do you favor the practice of employers working illegals no matter what US law says to the contrary? If not where do you think illegals will find the money to live once they sneak into our country? Should hospitals refuse to treat illegals? If not then who will pay for the treatment, rich democrats? No, that will never happen.
