Obama absolutely did have the war costs, bush did not even have the wars on the books. One of the first things obama did was to add the wars onto our debt and deficit...

Trump is about putting America first. The Globalists and quasi-governmental orgs like the FED are not for America.

I truly wonder what Trump would have done had he been elected in 2008 and found the economic mess that Bush left. Do you think he would have been able to stop a depression from occurring? Would he have been able to stop our banking industry from collapsing? Would he have been able to bring our unemployment rate down from 9.4% to the 4.3% that Obama did?

I personally believe that if Trump would have been elected in 2008, we would all be at the food lines asking for food, including Trump who would have lost all his properties.

The financial crisis of 2008 was primarily caused by deregulation in the financial industry. That permitted banks to engage in hedge fund trading with derivatives. Banks then demanded more mortgages to support the profitable sale of these derivatives. They created interest-only loans that became affordable to subprime borrowers.

Hasn't Trump been getting rid of regulations? What would he have done in 2008, would he have even deregulated more in the thought that the financial companies would be intelligent and caring enough to fix the problems on their own?

The truth is a trained monkey could probably have done as well as Obama did; and it wouldn't have required MUCH training. Most of his "accomplishment" was a matter of timing rather than economic brilliant. Compared to over a dozen other recessions since the Great Depression, Obama's was the worst. The economy actually turned positive in June of 2009, employment losses bottomed out shortly after he took office. Fortunately the determination and skills of the American people were able to drag the Obamanomics boat anchor and eke out some gains. Obama never had more than a passing interest in anything other than "fundamentally transforming America" it was clear he view a strong, vibrant economy as a non-goal: He told us slow growth was "the new norm"; that his energy policies would "necessarily cause the price of energy to skyrocket" and that he didn't care about maximizing tax revenues as long as "billionaires and millions" paid "their fair share".

Trump is about putting America first? How is he doing that? He has made us the laughingstock of all our allies and big established nations (such as Germany and France), he has put us as friends of Dictators and Autocrats like Kim and Putin that are actually laughing at us as well as Trump believes everything they tell him, and he has caused us to look like frightened babies running away from alien invaders that are mostly women and children and this at a time that the invaders are at their lowest numbers in 20 years. This is making America great? This is putting America first?

America was the strongest and most looked-up-to country in the world before Trump and now everyone is laughing at the stupidity of the nation in electing an incompetent clown.

Let me tell you that I am a stock market analyst since 1977 and I was heavily involved with the market (and the news) in 2008. Obama was instrumental in helping Bernake solve the financial problems that Bush left.

Below is a link and part of a report regarding Obama's part in solving the financial crisis.

You are totally wrong in your assessment of Obama, at least from the point of view that Obama is 10 times (or more) better than Trump and you support Trump. That is a partisan view that is not based on facts and as such, you have no credentials to make such a statement and be believed.

You keep referring back to Obama. This isn't about Obama. It's about Trump. Trump gave the wealthiest people in America a tax cut at the expense of the upper middle class in high tax states. There was a report on NBC tonight about a family who got a ten thousand dollar refund last year who will now need to write a check for that same amount. The tax law signed by Trump was made public only hours before the Senate vote and those who have good incomes with a lot of deductions, are going to pay through the nose.

Jobs are not coming back from China no matter how many unions get destroyed. Do some research on your own and stop relying on Fox for the answers to our problems.
