Trump Tax Cuts Are (Probably) About to Become a Political Disaster

come on. it's hilarious that republicans got massive tax cuts for people like Trump (and his family) by throwing a few bucks at you guys (and doing it in a way that could screw people at tax time if they're not paying attention).

Republican Party 2019

The same number who have been indicted for collusion with Russia.

it is odd when so many innocent people lie their asses off. oh well. Mueller doesn't ask questions that he doesn't already know the answers to. let's hope that Rudy and Trump told the truth on their written exam. as for my point that you dodged, zero tactical nuke planters have been indicted. here's the current count in the Mueller investigation :

Mueller indictments: everyone charged so far in the Russia investigation - Vox

so, not analogous. keep on dancin'.

It is analogous because there is as much evidence of collusion with Russia as there is for 911 being an inside job. And that is zero. Yet 911 Truthers still believe it was an inside job and Collusion Truthers, like yourself, still believe there was Russian collusion.

it seems like i have to remind Trumpists daily that saying something out loud does not make it true.

still not analogous. perhaps you should double down on it again. then i can remind you of the indictment count just to keep it fresh in your mind.

The indictment count for collusion and/or conspiracy with Russia is zero. But no matter how many times that is repeated, that fact will never penetrate the brains of the Collusion Truther.

ah. so all of them just lied to investigators and congress for giggles, then. i suppose that it didn't turn out to be too fun for them, eh?

you might want to unpretzel yourself. it's not so good for the back.

Well, you would be wrong. If Mueller comes up with evidence that Trump did something nefarious with Russia during the campaign, I will not support him. As far as your number of indictments goes, of the 35, 27 were of Russians who were said to have no links to anyone in the Trump camp. Manafort and Gates were indicted for things they did before they even met Trump. There are really only 3 indictments that hit close to home for Trump: Flynn, Cohen and Stone. Flynn was for a lie he told to the FBI about things that took place AFTER the election. So horrible were his crimes that the Mueller team is asking that he be sentenced to zero jail time. Stone is in trouble for lying about contacts he had with Wikileaks--which werent a crime to begin with. That leaves Cohen. That may lead somewhere, I dont know. He hasnt been charged with collusion or conspiracy or treason so that may lead nowhere as well. But until Mueller concludes this thing, we have no way of knowing. But if Trump is 'an agent of a foreign power' as many on the left claim, then every moment he sits in office endangers the country. If true, the outrage should be focused Mueller for not getting to the bottom of this much, much sooner.

The bottom line is that Russia is an established enemy of ours and there is no valid reason for there being so many contacts and interest in Russia from Trump, Flynn, Cohen and Stone. Whether collusion is established or not, the reality is that there was undue interest in communication/contact/business with Russia from this group. In addition, Trump has been very supportive of sanctions being lifted on Russia and the reality is that the is no good reason for us doing business with Russia. Economically and business-wise there are many other nations where economics and business can be more productive for us "and for Trump" and as such, Trump's very public and well established interest in doing business with them and having a relationship is unexplainable, especially considering the backlash that comes with such a relationship.

France, Germany, Japan, China and even places like Portugal and Spain offer much better economic and business relationships than Russia. Why is Trump not looking and talking about doing or increasing business personally and nationally with them?

Whether proof of collusion is found or not, I personally am totally against doing anything with Russia and the fact that Trump is and has bent over backward to do so is fishy as it can be.

You would have to ask them, but after two years of looking, there are no indictments, no convictions and no pleas of Russian collusion. Perhaps you Collusion Truthers should join forces with the 911 Truthers. Maybe the same guys who set the explosives in the Twin Towers also conspired with Russia.

I dont know, Trump has taken more substantive positions that run counter to Russian interests than are supportive of those interests. It reminds me a bit of when Obama was president and there were charges by his detractors that he was a 'Muslim plant.' Everything he did that was supportive of Muslims was seen as "Aha!! This proves it" Same thing with Trump. If you are convinced he is a 'Russian asset' you will see evidence for it in everything he does and ignore those aspects that contradict your conclusion.

The GOP's greatest strategist once again offers up a master class in one-dimensional chess.

Trump Tax Cuts Are (Probably) About to Become a Political Disaster

Trickle down economics is a proven failure. The only reason Republicans keep trying to go back to it is because it works well for those at the top, their donors. The only thing that trickles down to we the people is bull****. And yet conservative voters, and in this case Trumptards, keep applauding the GOP every time they get a few crumbs out of the BILLIONS going to the 1%.

If my taxes are lower this year than last, which they are, why would I be upset or become 'disloyal?'

Your reduced taxes are very temporary. The gigantic cuts for wealthy corporations are permanent.

Paying your fair share really sucks when it is you paying it.

What a crock!

I will be more than happy to trade tax returns with you. ( get your ****ing check book ready)

The only people not paying their fair share are the 1%.

Highest % of personal income tax, BY FAR was to the middle earners...3-4%.

Try REALITY.

If you live in a HIGH TAX STATE, and were used to SADDLING THE REST OF US WITH YOUR TAX BILL....TOUGH ****.

You don't get to foist your state's onerous taxation onto the rest of our backs anymore.

It's called YOUR FAIR SHARE.

Our tiny little bits of personal income taxes are miniscule compared to the tax cuts that bill gave to the rich and especially to corporations. They got a hefty 15% cut, which is permanent while the tiny tax cuts for we the people are temporary and were only included in the bill in order to get dumbass conservatives and Trumpanzees to support it. And you fell for it hook, line, and STINKER. It's trickle down economics, a proven failure. The bull**** trickles down, and the rich continue to get more at our expense.

The White House is not allowed to "instruct" the IRS on tax issues. Taxes are legislative matters and, as such, are directed by the legislative branch and then implemented by the treasury department under the executive branch. The executive branch can certainly express their opinion on how final regs should be implemented but they are not allowed to make up rules not already in place via legislation.

That didn't stop conservatives from claiming that Obama ordered the IRS to go after new conservative organizations.

Maybe you've never been poor. I grew up poor. My parents counted on that tax refund. It was a big deal. People notice when it gets smaller.

And no, people don't understand taxes at all. For example, they don't understand progressive taxation. If you told most people that income above $10 million would be taxed at 70% they would expect someone who makes $10 million to pay $7 million in taxes. Most people don't understand that it's only the money beyond the first $10 million that's taxed at 70%.

Just like Eisenhower's tax code. Under a certain amount, you only pay a little. The percentage goes up as the income goes up. It was fair, and it strengthened the middle and working classes.

that's an interesting assertion. how many conspirators / planters of tactical nukes in the twin towers have been indicted and have pled guilty so far?

Um . . . what tactical nukes in the twin towers? Got a link?

i would say that a ninety percent top margin is way too much. trickle down actually has some benefits when you're talking about reducing confiscatory rates like that.

read the full exchange. i'm pointing out that his ridiculous assertion isn't analogous.

"WHIP IT OUT AND LET'S SEE WHOSE IS BIGGER!!"

If Russia wanted to sow discord in america, then trump would he an ultimate "asset".

Whether he was aware of it or not.

I'm pretty sure trump is gonna turn out to be a "useful idiot".

Hey, at least he's a useful one now, amirite?
