After an incredibly contentious hearing before the House Judiciary Committee on Friday Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker was spotted at the Trump International Hotel in Washington.

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman noted the sighting on Twitter. People who responded jabbed — nervously — at the too-close-for-comfort situation of the man who could conceivably fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller heading straight to one of the lairs of the man Mueller is investigating. One commented that Whitaker was “reporting back to daddy.” Another compared it to “Lex Luthor returning to the Legion of Doom.”

For someone who ran on 'draining the swamp,' he's certain;ly doing a great job filling it up instead.
 
The infamous "tarmac meeting" on methamphetamine. But then, in the current administration, every day is the tarmac meeting on methamphetamine.

Why was the tarmac meeting between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton seen as problematic? When you can answer that clearly and honestly then you can understand why this is a problem.

Mind you, that's just a rhetorical question. I don't actually expect you to answer it clearly and honestly.

Really? This is news? Just nothing but more dumb ass gossip! Oh the drama..... he could fire the Special counsel.... we hear the BS over and over.
The new permanent AG will be voted on very shortly. But this is what we expect from the media today. Dishonest reporting.
 
Whitaker is probably just going to Trump hotel for one of Trump's signature taco bowls and a cup of covfefe.

Your question was irrelevant. An honest analysis of why the tarmac meeting was problematic would have steered you toward the relevant point of the thread.

I do not care if the president and his whole family was there. That's my answer. I saw everything I needed to see during the chat between mr. whitaker and congress.

And what did you learn? Other than Whittaker did nothing to interfere with Muellers investigation.

Whitaker said he did nothing to interfere with Mueller's investigation. Now, that may be true, actually, but Whitaker saying so is certainly not why I might believe that to be true.

Remember that lying under oath is a pastime for Trump associates.
