He pivoted from being an accomplished military officer to a peddler of shocking stories about the evils of Islam. After winning a reputation as a master intelligence officer on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, Flynn broke with lifelong patterns of behavior. Once discreet and apolitical, he morphed into a highly partisan alarm ringer. A man once trusted to cautiously analyze information began touting wild hearsay as fact.

Trump was explicitly warned not to hire Michael Flynn as National Security Advisor because he was at risk of being unstable emotionally. People who knew Michael Flynn during his military career felt he had completely gone off the rails. Those staffers around him saw a serious cognitive erosion. He discarded lifelong habits because he'd been enraged to his core when President Barack Obama's removed him as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency because of serious concerns of his mental status.

Flynn had a deal with President Erdogan of Turkey to kidnap/abduct Fethullah Gulen, a resident of the United States, and secretly fly him to Turkey to be murdered. Michael Flynn was going to do that for money. Yes, he's a traitor at the very least. Even after he admitted lying, pleaded guilty and cooperated with the investigation, Flynn remains a folk hero to many in Trump's base. That's the sad part, that people still engage in defense of this bastard to this very day.

Was Flynn ever charged with having some secret deal with Erdogan much less convicted of it? Secondly, having mental issues, even if true, has nothing to do with being a traitor. They are two wholly different things.

I know a lot of world history. I also know partisan crap when I see it. Flynn was NOT charged with treason or espionage, much less convicted of them. Any assertion to the contrary is inaccurate to put it kindly.

And what specifically did he plead guilty to? What did he lie to the FBI about? What we’ve won so far are 37 indictments or guilty pleas including but not limited to 6 Trump advisors, 26 Russian nationals, 3 Russian companies and partridge in a pear tree.

All because Republican Media people played them and convinced them that reality isn't really reality (for money).

I would support any POTUS, or person for that matter, being politically targeted for destruction without regard to truth or facts. That is what we've been witnessing but the effort, as aggressive and dishonest as it is, will fail.
