Rasmussen poll shows Trump with lowest approval in a year

Rasmussen does a daily poll, currently the only major polling organization that does one. Yesterday it was at 45% approval, tomorrow it could be back up to 47% for all we know (depending on what news item is for or against him).

As you state, polls change from day to day. People crowing over a poll that most anti-Trump elements say is biased in favor of him when it is UP, but have no problem pointing to when it is down is amusing.

That would be assuming a 2020 Trump victory. There is absolutely ZERO evidence suggesting even the possibility at this point.

Just to be clear....

a) Presidential addresses rarely change minds
b) Because of a), Presidents rarely use them to push for specific policy goals
c) IIRC the address was what, 10 minutes long? Has anyone changed your mind in 10 minutes?

So even if he hadn't lied constantly for years now, he wasn't going to turn things around with the address, or visiting the border, and so on.

The Rasmussen poll found that 43 percent of likely voters polled approve of Trump's job performance, his lowest mark in the poll since January of 2018, when his approval was at 42 percent.

I'd like to see what the comparable liberal polling numbers are. He can't win reelection with this kind of approval number.

The Rasmussen Poll is just like most polls. They are useless. They don't measure anything in any valid way.

The raw data is not available. The questions themselves are not available. The selection data is not available. Selection was not done by randN. The summary is gunk.
