Donald Trump Jr. compared immigrants to zoo animals in an Instagram post on the border wall

Is the only way to support law and order to consistently compare people to vermin, animals and disease?

Are the people in your comparison killing cops, laughing about it and stating before the judge that they wish they could kill more?

Google MS-13 convictions and the results go on and on.

As I understand it, Trump's declared party did better than most in the first election following taking office.

Obama's first mid term was a horrible disaster for him- about twice as bad in the House as it was for Trump. He also lost 6 seats in the Senate.

Bush gained House seats in his first mid term.

Clinton lost 54 seats in the House. I seem to recall that he lost the Senate as well with Bob Dole becoming the majority leader.

Trump gained seats in the Senate.

Trump, though, is really a President without a party as the RINO Romney is demonstrating. It makes me wonder what these Republican Party idiots are thinking if thinking is a part of their daily routine.

Trump maintained his Senate majority and that will allow the lasting impact of his Presidency for years to come. It's possible that he will place a total of 5 justices on the Supreme Court.

In this sense, he may be the most consequential President in the last 150 years.

Uh huh. So would you say that Democrats taking back 300 legislative seats, 6 governorships and 40 House seats (thus taking back control of the House) is a sign that resisting Trump is "guaranteeing the re-election 0f the man they hate?"

Would you say that the result of the midterms works for or against this supposition?

I don't know.

I think the event or events that will determine the outcome of the next presidential election have not happened yet.

Okay, so your rebuttal to the claim that Trump and his son uses White Supremacist talking points comparing immigrants to vermin and animals is to make more White Supremacist talking points calling immigrants criminals. Good one.

That's not even dog whistles to the white nationalist and white supremacist crowd - he's just adopting their language.

Can you please provide an example of a "dog whistle" that Trump has used?

To me, that term is only a tool used by the leftists in this country to mislead the weak minded.

Given all of the bad press he's gotten, probably billions of dollars worth from the major networks and newspapers, he did pretty well. However, Trump was not at the top of the ballot.

It is my hope that our population is not so stupid that they will continue to believe what they are told in opposition to what they actual see and feel around them.

It's a little ironic that the folks who will take the biggest hit from the news that we finally have a year of 3% GDP growth are not doing ANYTHING to re-open the government and allow that data to be published.

While they avoid doing their jobs, they blame Trump. Gosh! This is something that is completely unexpected.

The Congress fails to work and they blame Trump. how could anyone have predicted this?

The next left's contortions about something relatively harmless a Trump said to generate fauxrage and division.

Must be a day that ends in 'y'.

Straw Man much?

So in other words, no, there is no reason to think that resistance against trump portends a 2020 victory for him.

Cardinal, tell our dear uninformed code1211 that although GDP was at 4.2% in October, it did fall to 3.4% in January and it is anticipated to continue downward in 2019 with 2.5% being the average for the year. In 2020, GDP is expected to run about 1.8%.

Given that Obama did have 3 quarters above 4.2% (one of them being 5.1%), there is nothing Trump has done that he and his supporters can pound their chests on.

ILLEGAL immigrants are an infestation. Big Don is right

Nope, for the most part, they are simply seeking work which pays as much for one day's work as one week's work pays in their homelands. The problem is that is often at or barely above the US minimum wage.

A dishonest thread and article title.
Only racial hate mongers would say the comment was racist.

And out comes the bogeyman MS-13 card. Their viciousness cannot be overstated, but their capacity to endanger all Americans has been, repeatedly, ad nauseam, by Trump.

Fact is, MS-13 started in America and most of it's members are recruited here. There aren’t hordes of them crossing our southern border, invading every town in America, raping and killing helter skelter.

They love Trump’s ranting about them. He makes them seem to be America’s number one domestic violence concern and they happily accept the “praise”.

I’m glad Trump is going after them. I wish great success in removing every single one of them from society, but it would be better if he’d shut up and stop empowering them with his Grimm tales.

The examples were provided - a series of Tweets that would meet any test of, "What Would a White Supremacist/Nationalist Say."

They work illegally using forged documents. That is a problem.

They are now bringing families which have swamped elementary schools in the southwest with children with little to no understanding of English and who impact the system through free lunches and nutrition programs.

In the San Ysidro area it was estimated 40% of the cars were uninsured leading to higher rates for citizens and often loses for citizens who are hit.

I could go on....

Just like hearing the phrase "All Americans" and knowing that the person saying it is a racist.

This is the delusion that grips the Never Trumpers. You are filled with anger and hate and you think that those that you hate also hate. That is the foundation of your delusion.

Walls work. That's why there are so many of them. In my home, there are several. In the city of Indianapolis there are hundreds of thousands, probably millions of walls. In every floor plan I've ever seen, walls are drawn in.

I'd be willing to bet that if you look away from your computer screen, you will see a wall from the place where you're sitting. Walls are only walls. Your anger and hate turns them into something else.

Just wanted to say that a "Like" isn't enough, this is really a great post!

"You know why you can enjoy a day at the zoo? Because walls work."
-Donald Jr.

“There is a Revolution going on in California,” Donald Trump wrote on Twitter last week. “Soooo many Sanctuary areas want OUT of this ridiculous, crime infested & breeding concept.”
-Trump

Referring to MS-13, which until very recently he was certain to put in the same sentence as immigrants with extraordinary frequency:
"You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people. These are animals..."
-Trump

“They don’t care about crime and want illegal immigrants, no matter how bad they may be, to pour into and infest our country..."
-Trump

"They want Open Borders for anyone to come in. This brings large scale crime and disease."
-Trump

If you don't see the pattern, get better glasses.

Do you leave the door of your home unlocked and wide open for anyone to come in anytime?

Not sure what this red herring has to do with the comment you quoted - nothing that I can see.

But at least at my house, we might as well, actually. I'm certainly under no illusion that my locks deter any actual criminals. Kids maybe.... Break a window, flip a lock, in the house in 10 seconds or less.

What do you mean by "criminals"? There are a larger percentage (of their race) of blacks and hispanics in prison than whites, so you must be referring to brown people. Why don't you want brown people in your house if you're not a racist?
