Have in essence the Trump followers given him permission to lie at will?

No, Democrates are being practical and at the very least, need a cost/benefit analysis of the wall compared to the 'border security' options available to them that Dems have clearly stated they are open to...and The Donald insisting on one thing that isnt going to solve the problem.

Democrats have the country's best interests foremost....The Donald hold's his ego in that position.

You think the democrat arguments are "reasonable." The majority of Americans who elected Trump and even some who did not vote for him do not agree with the unsafe and nonsensical democrat open borders position.

It was an American movie producer who made a disrespectful film about peace-loving Muslims which sparked the just Muslim outrage which resulted in the deaths of 4 American heroes in Benghazi while our reinforcements were wisely told to stand down during the whole 8-hour firefight. We will avenge you surviving relatives by tracking down that American bad guy and persecuting him to the fullest extent of the law and then some.

However, to be honest, what the hell difference does it make that a few Americans lost their lives, because look how well the democrat party is doing supporting Obama's claims of having brought peace to the Middle East during his first term?

This shutdown has nothing to do with open borders. Democrats involved in the negotiations have stated clearly that they are willing to approve money for border security.

So you dont even understand what's going on, is that it?

Too many God bless American patriots are standing behind their support for the wall. The democrats will just have to admit failure in their efforts to force Trump to abandon this promise he was elected president to fulfill.

How many millions of Americans support the wall? How many millions of Americans do not want a dime spent on a wall? Trump was elected to build a wall, among other things. How many Americans voted against him to try to stop him? Just do the math.

This is not the Democrat Socialist States of America. Democrats do not get to dictate policy to Americans who oppose their policies. Democrats do not get to take the US government hostage in an effort to force their will on the people. Democrats need to get with the God bless American program and stop acting like a bunch of spoiled brat whiny-faced babies.

The democrats cannot stop Trump from opening up the government if they simply agree to work out a compromise on border security which will be med by approval from the majority of Americans? I think that is wrong. Let the democrats stop being pig-headed obstructionists and start working with Trump so he can open up the government again.

Polls were never meant to bear the force of government mandates, even in matters of slavery. What matters are decisions by Congress, courts and the Executive branch, the three branches of government. If pundits and politicos want Trump to take a different position they must go through Congress, court, or the executive branch to get the job done.
