the EC is not the population. Desires and wants reside in PEOPLE, not the electoral college, which are only symbols.
The MAJORITY of people in America DO NOT WANT Trump or his stupid wall.
He won the election by winning a very modest majority in Three swing states, about 80,000 votes, or about 1/2 of 1%. Compare that to the about 130,000,000 votes cast. . That's not much to win a large election. That is no mandate. It wouldn't take that much to tip it one way or the other, like russian help, like bullying and conning the population, like purging blacks and minorities from registration rolls ( 1.1 million names purged via Interstate Crosscheck program by repubs in 2016 ), and other assorted methods to win an election by methods other than the vote, etc.
You can't handle that fact. You can't handle the fact that most people do not want trump.
Pain? The Prez is being investigated on several fronts, he's coming unhinged, erratic, saying egregiously stupid things, acting like a jerk. In fact, he is incompetent, the job is beyond him. NOt only is it painfully obvious to most of the world's leaders and foreigners, he is a threat to National Security. But, of course, these things are invisible to you, because you are looking at the world through a Trumpian lens, which is provided to you by him, not your self.
You just can't see it. You will need to jump out of your own skin in order to see it.
Ask Trump about pain, he's an expert by now, having inflicted it on thousands of people, in the past.
The crows are coming home to roost, on Trump. He's a criminal and has been one for years, he's totally corrupt and does not hide it. He thinks, he really thinks, that if you're president, you can get away with it. I mean, didn't he not once claim that because he was a celebrity, that gave him the right to assault women sexually? He bragged about it.
You think a man like that, who has been his life getting rich of the misery of others, that he is looking out for you?
Her call to debate off camera is the norm, her request was merely a return to tradition. Trump thinks this feeble attempt at "transparency" was something of value. It's all theatre, dog and pony show and you fell for it. Legislation is not made this way, never has been, arguing a couple of people in front of a camera. It's still on camera, when the bills get the the floor it's filmed by C Span, remember? Regular order, remember?
