Too many people throw cowardly bombs around DP that way. Some use it just to stir the pot, some use it to say things they really believe but are too afraid/ashamed to say out loud, and others use it so they can then troll anyone who responds for allegedly misreading what they've said.

She prefers hit and runs. Sadly, we have a lot of posters who like to say really ugly stuff, then scarper the moment someone reads it as intended.

Naturally, the game is to keep it as vague as possible. That way, if someone calls them on what they've said, they can say "oh look, it's a liberal playing the <X> card" or some such; the same pattern, across many subjects.

Liberals always just turn their cheek, take the high road and never respond in kind. I wouldn't want our Democratic leaders to lie and work with our enemies for political gain, but maybe they should at least start calling a liar, a liar...
