Trump says he’s “totally cleared” by Court filing that Accuses Him

Sure it is, just ask Hillary about that. She didnt intend to break the law so be reasonable prosecutor would press charges told to us by the former director of the FBI.

In this case it happens to be true. Campaign finance laws are extremely complicated and nobody seems to understand them. That is why these cases are normally resolved as a civil matter and the candidate is ordered to pay back the money.

We're talking the 45 campaign. If 45's team was too stupid to not follow the laws, serious laws that protect our elections, that's still a felony.

What are you talking about ?

"To warrant a criminal charge, Mr. Comey said, there had to be evidence that Mrs. Clinton intentionally transmitted or willfully mishandled classified information. The F.B.I. found neither, and as a result, he said, “our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.”

Is there evidence that Trump, if at all, intentionally or willfully broke any laws?

That's true of minor accounting or reporting errors, or late disclosures.

It's definitely not true of conspiracy to hide campaign donations entirely.

Well that means no one else cares.

You only get to speak for you.

That you dont understand even this little means that you are not worth talking to.

Yep. The audio.

What's scarier?

That this nincompoop is president, or that a significant number of people in the U.S. think he's the best president we've ever had?

You tell it, Amelia! IMHO there is no question that "Individual 1" is less scary than the suckers, dummies and fools who continue to believe that Individual 1 is a truly great American president. One way or another Individual 1 will be out of Washington in 6 years at the latest. On the other hand suckers, dummies and fools will remain.

Oh no!

I'm sure I will miss our exchanges.

Well, no. I tend to like debating capable people.

Yep. The audio.

If you are referring to the Cohen tape ... "he is "entitled" to pay off women as a private citizen", according to scholar of US constitutional law and criminal law Alann Dershowitz.

He was a candidate bound by the FEC. Not a "private citizen."

You dont say....

https://www.politico.com/story/2013/01/obama-2008-campaign-fined-375000-085784

President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign was fined $375,000 by the Federal Election Commission for campaign reporting violations — one of the largest fees ever levied against a presidential campaign, POLITICO has learned.
The fine — laid out in detail in FEC documents that have yet to be made public — arose from*an auditof the campaign, which was published in April. POLITICO obtained a copy of the*conciliation agreement*detailing the fine, which was sent to Sean Cairncross, the chief lawyer for the Republican National Committee, one of the groups that filed complaints about the campaign’s FEC reporting from 2008.

Surely if someone as brilliant as Obama is too stupid to understand these laws, you cant expect a knuckle dragger like Trump to understand them. When should we expect the criminal charges against Obama to be filed?

Mueller has thrown the book at many victims of the misguided probe which supposedly started out looking for Russian collusion with Trump but not Russian collusion with Hillary. To hell with Mueller and his democrat invented Russian collusion conspiracy theory.

Relax, the collusion case is brewing. You had a peek at it last week when it was confirmed for the first time that Trump was fooling with the Russians on a Moscow hotel deal well into the campaign, giving the lie to all those, “I have nothing to do with Russia”, assurances. Soon enough we’ll learn more of the same, probably enough to understand the love affair with Putin and why
the Crimea plank in the GOP platform was softened without a word of explanation at the time. Patience, friend.

The topic is the present POTUS. Speak to the issue.
No no no you dont get to deflect out of this with that garbage. We are discussing campaign finance law and how its typically prosecuted.

SPOT ON. It's bad enough that this ******** is president but the bigger concern is that there are about 60 million Americans who think he is the best president ever. Add all the white supremacists, neo-nazis, KKK and deplorable morons around the world who also think the same thing ...and the world is in big deep doo doos.

And to think one of the most populated countries, Brazil, is about to get their very own portugese speaking trump and we should really be worried.

No wonder my grandparents keep telling me that what is happening right now is similar to what happened in Europe in the 1930s.

And instead of Germany/Japan and Italy destroying the world, it will be the USA, Russia and Saudi Arabia who will start WW3 and destroy the world.

The campaigns get schooled on the rules by the FEC. If he didn't pay attention, well, IGNORANCE of the law is no excuse.

Doesn't matter to these people the woman that voted illegally didn't know it was illegal. But she still got 8 years.
Hey maybe Trump should pardon her since she was voting republican.

Comey told us it is.

Are you referring to the REPUBLICAN Comey who helped trump win the electoral college by announcing he was re-opening that bloody email investigation 10 days before the election?

You know the guy who announced this when Hillary was leading in the polls by 11 points - and somehow convinced enough Americans to vote for trump , stein or noone at all?

And for some strange reason the trumpsters really hate the guy who helped trump win the electoral college.

FUNNY ABOUT THAT.

Nope, I'm referring to the NON-republican Comey ...

7-7-2016: "Although our politics are different — I gather you're a Republican — that correct?" Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.) asked Comey in prefacing his remarks.

Comey responded, "I have been a registered Republican for most of my adult life, not registered any longer."

If you are referring to the Cohen tape ... "he is "entitled" to pay off women as a private citizen", according to scholar of US constitutional law and criminal law Alann Dershowitz.

Trump has been paying off women and others for a long time. Anyone who is wealthy and successful is faced with a montage of people creepers who make all kinds of claims in hopes to land a bag of cash and they know, those who are wealthy and well known is cheaper to pay them off than to take them to court and deal with the bad publicity.

Doing business with Russians was never considered wrong before the democrats invented the collusion conspiracy theory in an effort to distract from their own damaging insider emails.

He probably has paid off women. But not when it comes to violating election law.

Indeed. Add to that that this business deal didn't even get off the ground and was conducted by subordinates, occurred before the election, was not related to Mueller's primary mission - to find Trump / Russian collusion to alter the election results (no evidence found, apparently), what's the criminality here again?
