The people didn't know what was going to happen. They thought they would sing and dance. They then find themselves in a choreographed bullying to kiss a stranger so as to please the audience. The "tradition" is over and rightfully so.

Audience members had become uncomfortable with the visibly reluctant participants on stage. It was going to cost the group their future. They saw the light. Don't make the audience uncomfortable by forcing quasi consensual kissing on stage using the audience as a bludgeon.

In sum, it wasn't working anymore. Such is life. They have other routines.

I am so tired of this political correct crap!! Kiss the girl being cut over "toxic masculinity" pretty much sums up their thinking. Since when is a male kissing a girl toxic? In the Disney cartoons the female characters like being kissed. Is that really the problem with these morons because the female actually likes it? Would these people be satisfied if the prince who kissed Snow White was a transgender and the little mermaid was a lesbian instead?

Not anymore, I don't work in Seattle anymore, but I would never involve myself with a woman from there. True story and I think this relates, I had to drive by this nightclub on 1st Ave S on the way back to the employers warehouse, and there was always people crowded outside, mostly female and they would wear these extremely skimpy dresses and I even got flashed a few times driving by, I think it now makes perfect sense, the feminist movement has destroyed the noble trait of modesty, which used to be a defining female trait. The left hates songs like "Baby it's cold outside" and this "Kiss the girl" song from the movie because the feminine side of these songs is expressing modesty. Ariel cannot talk which is metaphorical for wanting to properly express desire, and the woman in Baby it's cold outside wants to stay but knows it's virtuous to be modest. Feminists cannot live with this and wish to destroy it.

It's something expected of the left. Whether it was done by them or not, doesn't much matter. It's how folks perceive the left to act. Doing stuff like this falls right into the existing perception of the left or the political correct crowd. It is painting with a broad brush for sure, but it fits the broad picture of what is expected and what has come from the left in the past.

I'm a PhD candidate, haven't published my dissertation. I want to do that in Kenya and own the ipr on my research. My degree is Interdisciplinary Ecology. My specialization is Gender. My MSc is International Environmental Science, from Europe.

Yeah, it's a completely fake field of study, and they exist only to find the most specious claims of female oppression by the patriarchy, no sh!t in 2016 in Sweden these ugly feminist gender studies people decided that the way stockholm plowed the streets was a form of misogyny and so they rearranged the decades old snow plow priorities from the main streets to streets that they decided somehow were more used by womyn and oddly enough there were dozens of car crashes the first day of this policy. This is a field of study that exists literally to destroy western civilization. I think we should ban federally guaranteed loans and pell grants from being used for it.
