Meghan McCain: If Obama had disrespected the military like Trump, 'my head would have exploded'

“The View” co-host Meghan McCain on Monday tore into President Trump’s criticism of a retired Navy admiral, urging her fellow conservatives to take it more seriously.

McCain listed a number of Trump’s recent actions that have drawn accusations of disrespect toward the military, saying that if former President Obama had done the same, Republicans would have been outraged.

“We should be intellectually honest here at this table that if President Obama had missed Veterans Day or missed the Armistice ceremony in France for the 100th anniversary of World War I, my head would have exploded right here on this table in front of all of you,” she said.

Remember how the republicans went beserk when President Obama didn't wear a flag pin? And the day he wore a tan suit had them screaming for his impeachment. But trump defecates all over the US constitution EVERY SINGLE DAY and the republicans give him a standing ovation.

Ronald Reagan would NOT be welcome in trump's republican party.

Can't wait to see if George H W Bush tells trump he isn't welcome at HIS funeral. Well his wife did it and it would be a bad look if he doesn't do the same.

2. Trump said something about McRaven because McRaven spouted off about Trump.

3. McRaven shouldn't need cover from MM. If he does, then he should refrain from spouting off about Trump.

trump refused to go to a WW1 memorial service in Paris because he was worried his hair would be messed up in the rain. He refused to attend a Veterans day service at Arlington cemetery because it was too far away. Arlington cemetery is only a few km from the white house.

And almost 2 years since he became president, he has still NOT visited any troops serving overseas.

Is he worried that the troops won't goosestep and give him a salute when he demands it?

John McCain - a war hero - criticised trump and trump responded by calling McCain a 'COWARD' and a 'TRAITOR'. trump supporters then chanted 'LOCK HIM UP' at the trump rallies. 10 years ago many of these trump supporters would have voted for McCain and are now celebrating his death.

McRaven criticised trump and no doubt trump will retaliate in the most vile and disgusting manner possible. I excpect a nasty tweet at 3 in the morning. And I expect a trump supporter will probably send McRaven a death threat.

I didn't say McCain ran in the primaries. Trump kicked him to the curb when he badmouthed Trump. That's what MM is butt hurt about.

McCain didn't run in the 2016 primaries. He was the Republican candidate in 2008. And since you disrespect war veterans just like trump does - may I remind you that McCain is a WAR HERO and trump is a 5 time draft dodging coward.
