I had a strange dream

Me. Do you have problem with comparing dreams about children and adults with examples from the present? Would you be okay if I mentioned Pelosi or Ted Kennedy killing a girl as being childish?

This is a genuine dream I had last night. I dreamed I secured a job with an adoption agency. After arriving home after the interview I realised I would have to hand over children to gay couples. Now, I have nothing against gay people, as although their behaviour may well be perverted, it's a legal perversion in most western countries, and should be considered as such. I am great advocate of civil partnerships, albeit I find the term "gay marriage" to be an oxymoron. Children by nature are very cruel, not to mention unforgiving of anything slightly different. You only have to see the fuss they make when one of their piers has a new haircut. Regardless of what the lefty liberals may think, children will no doubt bully other children who happen to have two mums or two dads. After all, children can't be born of two people of the same sex for a reason, and human intervention doesn't make it natural. I have no doubt that two people of the same sex can't love a child as much as a heterosexual couple, but that doesn't make it right. It won't surprise you, I turned the job down.

I like most cheeses. Not all... but most.

Translation: I have nothing to add except insults and seeking to harm others.

Awesome. Thank you for your input, ma'm.

Thanks. Although I disagree, it's a wise decision for you to ignore me since my posts appear to greatly upset you. G'day, ma'm. View attachment 67244249

Meanwhile, back to dreams, kids, homophobia and my post that pissed you off:

Disagreed. First, by adult standards, children are insane.

Second, the problem with Trump is that he acts like a child: narcissist completely lacking in empathy and who'll throw tantrums if he doesn't get his way. That's children to a "T".

Third; an old definition of maturity is when people start thinking about others before themselves. Girls usually "mature" faster than boys. Boys tend to be self-involved, girls more caring. Yes, children are cruel, but not intentionally. It's just that they don't care about anyone but themselves.

While I agree a "normal" home is best for children, gay parents adopting kids is much better for the kids than to let them be raised in a government facility or in a dysfunctional "normal" home of drug addict or abusive parents.

A major problem is that most adopting parents want a baby, not a problematic 8 year old. If gay parents are willing to take those 8 year olds and give them a loving, nourishing home, I fully support it.

https://adoptionnetwork.com/adoption-statistics
There are 107,918 foster children eligible for and waiting to be adopted. In 2014, 50,644 foster kids were adopted — a number that has stayed roughly consistent for the past five years. The average age of a waiting child is 7.7 years old and 29% of them will spend at least three years in foster care.

Red:
Actually, children are innately inquisitive and tolerant of new and different, well, "everything." Humans (all mammals) are most malleable as children, as well they should generally be for that curiosity and open mindedness is integral to learning and survival. To wit, kids have no sense of their own mortality, fallibility, naivete, etc., thus being naturally moved to "check out" pretty much anything that's new and different from that which is familiar to them. Recognizing that in certain instances being thus compelled may harm their child, adults teach kids to be fearful and unforgiving about "this and that." In the process of teaching kids things, it's is adults' intolerance of "anything slightly different" that begets kids' espousal of similar notions.
