Wife wanted me to post this and ask what you think about it and what it says to you. As the video is a bit political I'm putting it here.

(she specifically asked me to not give my point of view as she just wants to know what your views are without my input)

I think it's supposed to be an anti-gun video (and I must admit I almost turned it off with the lengthy opening video snips segment on that topic), something about guns being a threat to youth or some-such.

It did not move me...but then again I am not a "youth" anymore, so messages designed to "wake me" based on appeals to emotion don't work.

Having said that, I guess kids might be influenced against gun rights by it...or ignore it depending on how much they like this particular musical group.

Basically, I thought it was awful, but then again I'm an old fogey who sees nothing but liberal agenda in that clip.
Reminds me a bit of the kumbaya message from a few years back ...

I think it's got a nice beat and is easy to dance to.

I think your wife needs to become a member........

I thought it was a very interesting piece with a potent message. The fact is that society moves forward, and this is the generation that will shape the future. There's no going back, as much as the MAGAers would like to imagine.

So we see a video of young and talented people celebrating their life, and vowing to not give up their dreams. I think it takes a bit of twisted thinking to find something wrong with the message here.

Thanks for sharing this.

The main part of the video itself is beautiful but the song isn’t all that great. My take is it is supposed to make youth, particularly those views as “different” feel empowered.

I thought the lyrics were too vague and repetitious and didn't seem to have a coherent meaningful message.

The video didn't make me want to watch it again.

I like her instructions to you, kudos to the better-half.

It was too long for me to be serious about watching it fully, I skipped around, but it looked moderately well-produced. Could appeal maybe to mainstream youth. Not edgy or cool enough to get the whole tamale.
Some like to think it gun control can be achieved with campaigning similar to anti-smoking over time, that's kind of what it put me in mind of...but that may not a good general comparison.

If there is one thing that definitely can (and will) be taken away then it is one's youth.

I'd like to nominate this as an alternative (and much shorter) 'let's all get along song':
