Action is better than apathy. Please take a few minutes out of your day today and go vote! Use your voice and show that you care. If you plan on voting then call around to friends and family and encourage them to vote or bring them with you. Whatever your reasons for voting are and whomever you decide to vote for is your choice and your right, but you have to vote to make those reasons known! For me I will vote based on my values and my beliefs and not based on the letter next to the name. Whether that means voting for a candidate that values equal respect for others regardless of who they love or how they identify, voting for someone that wants to increase freedoms, voting for someone that shares your concern for protecting our environment, or voting for someone that wants to have good and civil conversations and wants to try and bring the country back together again, it all doesn’t matter if you don’t vote. (Getting of soapbox).

I’m not gonna show up at a place that does not hold a ballot for me. No.

They don’t have a ballot for you? Are you registered?

Here in TEXAS you are registered through the place that would be used closest to your drivers license address. That is were your own personal ballot sits till used.

SO which republican are you going to vote for?
since most republicans in general support those kind of issues?

I already voted, and for the first time in my life i voted a straight ticket.
and i will tell you why.

the liberals in congress seriously offended me as a husband, a father, and a man when they went on that smear campaign.
When they chose political assassination of a good man and drug his name and his family through the mud and the muck
simply because of a political agenda. they had a chance to stand and act as an ethical group of people
and to stand up for the side of what was right and instead chose to roll around in the slums.

They have refused to publicly apologize for their behavior and their outlandish accusations.
They have shown themselves for what they are and have ousted themselves for the intolerant closed minded
people that we knew they always were.

It is sad to hear so many people choose to throw away jobs and prosperity for hate.

Not to mention, if they can do that to Kavanaugh, they can do that to ANYONE.

I don’t believe you ever voted a non right wing ticket!
Your talking about rolling in the slums? How do you that with holding the pug in chief accountable?

They went one better. They killed off a host of God fearing people at Waco once they gained power.

welcome to the new dark ages where thinking and logic are thrown out the window for appeals to emotion and ad hominems.
where the only argument isn't based on facts and logic but how well you can demonize the person you are talking too.

this is where society crumbles into anarchy and authoritarianism. this is how thought police and other sycophants begin to run all over people.

as an example. a store owner went to a milo speech.
some hack of a reporter ran an article that he was a white supremacist.

the man was forced to shut down his business due to people threatening them.
WTF kind of country that is supposed to be free in thought and expression allows for mob tactics like that and people deem it ok.

They would kill all that disagree if they could get away with it.

Democrats are fascists.

Yes please vote but only if you've actually taken some time to really understand the issues and the candidates. An uninformed vote is worse than a non-vote.

Just finished voting. Polls were BUSY at 7:30. Turnout looked like it was a presidential rather than a midterm. Not sure exactly what that means but in my precinct Election Day voters tend to run Republican by nearly 2:1

Some no doubt are. So are some Republicans. What's your point?

Mainstream democrats are facists, I.e., all democrats are fascist. Not all republicans are facists....very few.

Keep deluding yourself. It’s that mindset that is what’s wrong with this country.

My wife and I voted today. It was good to do that together.

You don't know how i vote. I have no reason to lie and you are wrong.
I have voted for democrats in the past.

Given your response here you are not worth my time. In fact it is a waste of my time.
why? typical liberal response here folks.

I wouldn't have voted for trump in the first place if you hadn't nominated clinton.

The main two that I voted for is Chris Sununu (republican) for governor and Justin O’Donnell (libertarian candidate) for congress. For state representative I voted for most of the democratic candidates since there was only one republican candidate and he is kind of a joke. I didn’t vote on a few local positions since I didn’t know enough about the candidates. Voted yes on two amendments one included adding a line in the NH constitution regarding a reinforcement of a right to privacy and being free from government intrusion into privacy.

I waited until a bit past 8 AM to vote this morning hoping that the thick fog would clear (it did not and may hang around until 10 AM or later). No lines (as usual) but we now have 4 voting machines instead of the usual three and all were in use. Many now take advantage of early voting (my neighbor waited in line for nearly two hours last week for that 'convenient' option) but it is available at far fewer polling locations than are open today.

... voting for someone that shares your concern for protecting our environment ...

... Justin O’Donnell (libertarian candidate) for congress ...

Curious - do you think he will take care of the environment better than Kuster or your choice was based on other reasons? From a quick search, I see O’Donnell saying

O’Donnell said:
Competitive free markets and individual property rights stimulate the moral choices and behavioral changes required to protect our environment and ecosystems.

... which makes no sense at all. A business running a polluting factory would not care about moral choices if it only cared about its competitive position. That's the ROOT of the problem.

Yet Kuster seems to have some reasonable positions on this. If she votes party lines, that would normally also be more environment-friendly. But I have not looked at her actual voting record to see if she did.
