Security experts say Georgia's voter database vulnerable to hackers

How you came up with the above is a mystery. You can't be that obtuse.

I can't help it if 1) you've yet to demonstrate any hypocrisy on my part, and 2) don't want to apply the standard you're applying to me to your own hypocrisy.

Kemp is abusing his power as Sec. of State and instead of commenting on that abuse of power, you've decided to go with BUTWHATABOUT???!!! So you don't care about lying or abuse of power if your guy does it - you've told us this many times in this thread.

I'm not byocritical. I'm going to cast the deciding vote in the election now. Who knew this would fall to little old me?

You are hypocritical because you're using one standard for me and other "liberals" (although you've yet to quote me being hypocritical) and a different one for you and right wingers.

FWIW, I cast my deciding vote two weeks ago, so I'm way ahead of you.

The lack of your outcry at the absence of evidence in the Kavanaugh hearing is sufficient to establish your hypocrisy. You're certainly crying about it now in a different case, and I suspect it's because the accused is a democrat.

There is no "ahead" in voting. There's only the outcome, for which I've been honored to cast the deciding vote. Maybe not, but there's a reason the workers are always smiling when I show up. You don't think it's the way I look, do you? I mean, I look normal, right? Hair on the top and feet on the bottom, and all of that.

And your lack of outcry at the absence of evidence with Kemp is sufficient to establish YOUR hypocrisy. Now that we've established we're both hypocrites, neither of us can ever whine about absence of evidence again, forever and ever, and I'm glad you're applying the same standard for me to your own "disgusting" hypocrisy!

Since it happened only a few days ago, and since I Don't know the nature of the evidence turned over to the FBI, I reserve the right to get outraged later, when more is known.

What's known is he made baseless, evidence free charges. The problem is you're hypocritically using different standards for Republicans versus Democrats and don't care if a Republican abuses his authority as Sec. of State to make allegations not supported by ANY evidence days before an election in which he's on the ballot.

But it's worse that that, really. He incompetently left the voter database vulnerable to hacking, and in so doing failed what is a pretty simple duty as Sec. of State, and is blaming Democrats for making that incompetence public.

Unlike you, I wait until all the evidence is in, just as I did in the Kavanaugh case. If the FBI agreed to look at it, they at least had a cursory look at some kind of evidence. Whether it's credible or meaningful remains to be seen. If it's largely a baseless charge, I'll condemn it. Until then, I'll wait. Your rush to judgement is telling.

I don't know why you're deliberately missing the point here. The Sec. of State lobbed an inflammatory charge that DEMOCRATS hacked the voting system, and there is just no evidence for that. If there was, he had an obligation to release it at the time he made the charge.

His job is to oversee a free and fair election - what he did was an obvious attempt to damage Democrats, shift sentiment to the GOP, and he did it from his official position as Sec. of State while HE is on the ballot. The fact that it "remains to be seen" whether this currently baseless and evidence free charge might later, well AFTER the election, be proved true or false, IS THE DAMN PROBLEM.

What he did is an obvious abuse of power - appropriate for a third world ****hole country, not the U.S.

Yeah, politics suck, and most especially when it's your ox that's being gored. I got the point from the start. As I said, I'm laughing about it right now. Two can play that game, and while that doesn't make it right, it's interesting to see the left cry about it after they did the very same thing a month ago. I'll shed a tear for you now. Sniff. If the FBI says there's nothing to the claim, I'll call the SoS a scum bag, and bet he's as devastated as Harry Reid was at that label.

OK, so you hypocritically don't care when your side does it. That's been my point, and you have, therefore, forfeited your right for all of time to criticize bad behavior by democrats. Got it.

You have a short memory. Remember, you're the hypocrite here. Not me.

LOL, because you don't care about Kemp's abuse of power, that makes ME a hypocrite? Good one.... :lamo

Where did I say I didn't care about Kemp? It remains to be seen whether this was an abuse of power, or not. You aren't the judge in the matter, and neither am I. Unlike you, I don't wish to be the judge. I'll accept the final word on the matter from other, less biased sources. If you were rational regarding the matter, you would too, but sadly, you aren't.

I see, so it's OK to make inflammatory charges in the closing days of an election against your opponent's political party, accuse them of trying to cheat the election, and THEN look for some evidence to back it up, and which evidence won't be found until the election is over! That's really what you think we should expect from a Sec. of State doing his job competently and consistent with his duty to oversee free and fair elections?

You know that's insane, right?

What I suggest you do here is relax and watch the election returns. I'm going to relax, and not watch election returns, but I hear it's a big thing, so you should go for it. OTOH, if you get paid by the word or something, you can continue without me, and in fact, you can post for me. You claim to know what I'm thinking anyway. I'll get ya started. I'm thinking of having a beer, and then eating dinner.
