Yeah, check the numbers, Obama got the unemployment rate to drop by driving people out of the workforce - his job market was so bad people just quit looking or settled for part time work just to survive. Trump's 3.7% includes people coming off the sidelines and part timers getting full time work.

The left has a problem understanding what a discouraged worker and what a part time for economic reason employee is. Discouraged workers aren't counted in the unemployment number or labor force thus skewing the data and the more discouraged the lower the unemployment numbers. The U-6 is a better measurement of economic successes or failures and the U-6 never got back to pre recession levels but are well below those levels now so thank you Obama for giving us Trump

New coaches can do wonders. Especially those motivational types who say YOU can do it.

In politics, the message of... business friendly, cut crippling regulations, lower taxes, is a powerful message. It appeals to human nature.

Since taking office... he has done so much of what he said he would, and this breeds confidence. It reinforces.

Obama was business hostile... he actually thought of business as an extension of the government. A place that creates jobs for government... not a place to seek and make profits.

That’s a MASSIVE difference.

PS. Do not forget... Trump was blasting out this message during the campaign... and on November 9, 2018 he had the power to act... and did.

Obama... how many times did he say he would have a “laser-like focus on the economy”. He never found his laser. In fact, he was an anti-laser... and his 8-years revealed as much.

It does appear that a lot of voters are indeed stupid as the pre recession employment was 146 million in January 2008 with a democratic Congress. Obama stimulus was passed in January 2009 right after Obama took office and signed in Mid February, employment dropped to 138 million so now you want to claim that the drop didn't occur and all those are new jobs created when the reality is most of those jobs returned to the labor force in 2014 and were part time jobs at best. Obama's job was to get us back to pre recession level of 146 million which he did 9 years later at 152 million which is a 6 million increase. Trump's is up 4 million in 2. Sorry pal, but you are simply wrong in your analysis

Perfect example, he signed his stimulus for shovel ready jobs in February 2009 and when that failed rather than focus on the economy he offered up ACA. Employment at the time when ACA was proposed was 139 million or a 3 million reduction from January 2009 and a 7 million reduction from January 2008. That isn't economy focused that is incompetence.

Presidential direction tends to be over blown in it's effect. HOWEVER, business reacts to profit, and when the country is a direction that lowers profits, businesses tend to do poorly, and when it's in a pro-profit business tends to pick up.

Trump deregulated, cut taxes, business responded to that incentive.

Where are they getting their false information? I know there's some left-wing opinion pieces floating around the net saying similarly, but there is no data to support those findings.

It looks silly today... when juxtaposed against a businessman who knows what it takes, and can negotiate on par with anyone.

There are many who hate Trump, but one thing is certain... and if they are honest will admit... the man can negotiate, and doesn;t **** around with esoteric BS. He sees the US getting shafted and he fixes it as he thinks it should be fixed. He’s delivered results.

I’ll miss the guy in 6-years. He’s the exact type of guy people claimed they wanted. A straight shooting, no BS politician.

Friday brought more great economic news: higher-than-expected jobs growth!
Highest economic optimism in nearly 18 years. (That leaves out the Obama years)
87,000 more jobs are being created PER MONTH than under President Obama.

Remember when you go out to vote on Tues. that if you want results, vote Republican.

OMG, you people are hopeless, Obama was hired to get us back to pre recession levels which were 146 million employed in January 2008, in January 2017 that number was 152 million so how many jobs were actually created. A returning job is a job created and most of those were part time for economic reasons.

There certainly is an immaturity with most in the left as they cannot admit being wrong. they are still hanging on to a dream that never materialized, a dream that his resume showed would never be realized but that was ok to the left who always buys rhetoric
