...to change the Constitution (save maybe one or two in this Trumpster Gathering). Obviously they are too blind with cultist loyalty to realize they want to open the biggest legal can of worms possible. If a president can remove a part of the Constitution through executive order then what is to stop a future president from removing any other part of the Constitution, or even the whole thing?

America is trapped in a political landscape divided by political ideology and there is no common ground because The basic common agreement no longer exists.

Cons were melting down over the belief that Obama was going to take their guns.

If Obama said he was going to issue an executive order to change the Constitution your side would be demanding violent revolution.

These are the same types who whine and complain about 'soft' Republicans or RINOS making compromises with the other side. Compromise to them is a dirty word. That is why these people lean towards fascism and strongmen.

It’s more than that, conservative political ideology is a tribe. Some people consider their political identity to be a part of them. But conservative political ideology lives a completely different reality. Nothing is true unless a conservative said it or it benefits conservatives

It's more political genius from Trump.

He could care less one way or the other about immigrants, Christ he is married to one who stayed here illegally.

What he has done is create a crisis in his supports minds,(immigrants are the devil) then he makes himself the hero by claiming he will protect them by issuing an EO.

When it is rejected by law he will claim he is being unfairly thwarted from protecting "his people."

It's a win win for him. Political genius.

Trump leads the Rebellion, I have since I showed up here been one of the most vocal supporters of Trump around, but that does not make me a conservative. About the only thing I have in common with conservatives is an understanding that we have lost our way in big part because we have ignored the wisdom of the ancients, and that we are not going to be OK until we relearn it.

The Constitution doesn't say anything about illegals dropping a kid and the kid is automatically a citizen. In fact, the original intent says specifically that that isn't what the 14th Amendment is for.

As much as the Fathers of the Nation were contemplating people just dropping in from all over the planet to drop a kid with the transportation that was around at the time....
