I had a drunk uncle who wanted to be President, or let's just say he was fond of shouting things like, "If was running this country, things would be a lot different, and young punks like you ....... (fill in blanks here) .........etc etc etc, bla bla bla quack quack quack."

I followed him for a while on Twitter, and in time he made my skin crawl. All my instincts say the guy is a bad mofo.
 
I don’t know much about th guy. What I have seen from him makes me uninclined toward wanting him as President. Of course I feel that way about most candidates nowadays.
 
I find him a mirror image of the president we have now. Both are entirely concerned with their own promotion, and have no qualms about entering dishonest transactions to do so.

Avenatti has going for him that he is the new asshat on the block. Still a little shiny, while Trump is getting more and more orange.

He's certainly no worse than the Orange Buffoon who made him famous.

He was never a "hero." Hero worship is Right Winger thing: elevating clown to hero status. Avenatti is just the guy who stuck it up your clown's ass. And, for doing that, he was justifiably cheered.

As I have explained to you before I am sure Trump is where he is because he is extremely talented, one of the best politicians of his generation.

And now Avenatti's getting it in the ass. He's already been ordered to hand over millions of dollars for screwing someone out of money, forced to pay Trump's legal bills for his Stormy suit and now the DOJ may be looking at him for criminal fraud.

Avenatti is going down in flames. Your lot gave him the go-ahead to jump into the spotlight...and now he's getting his ass burned for taking his **** too far.

There is effectively little difference in morality and personality between him and Trump. So unless you're willing to denounce Trump then your problem with Avenatti isn't over any of his personality flaws, but the fact that he's not in your tribe.
