BREAKING: Gab.com Is Suspended After Mass Shooting in Pittsburgh – Paypal Suspends Account

Well, at least you are honest enough to admit “conservatives” are anti-Semitic Nazis.

Maybe some are, but if conservatives oppose or oppress Israel and the Jews they make themselves the enemies of God.

Boo hoo.

Microsoft actually threatened to shut them down two months ago by threatening to end their azure cloud service unless they removed two anti-semetic hate speech posts within 48 hours. Posts advocating for genocidal violence against Jewish people. Not okay and shouldn't be passed off as "Free speech." That's a bull**** argument. The right to free expression does not extend to advocating, inciting and encouraging genocidal violence against Jewish people.

Yes but on this one thing I am forced to agree with Sam Troy of all people.
Farrakhan is to Malcolm X what Charles Manson was to Sharon Tate, he ordered the assassination, and he's a rabid antisemite with a distinct and paid for veneer of civility that is gossamer thin, just enough to allow him to sneak in for photo ops that can be used to poison the careers of any prospective leader within range of the lens.
And if someone is ignorant enough to believe Farrakhan's veneer and lend support or any other acknowledgment to him, they get rewarded sooner or later with a Farrakhan shakedown for money.

Do I believe Sam Troy has noble intentions in posting such fact? Probably not but facts are facts and they're true no matter who is presenting them.
If Sam Troy needs to make a case for seat belts by saying that they reduce fatal injuries in a high speed crash, I'd be forced to agree with him again.

So perhaps in essence, agreeing with something Sam Troy says is a lot like letting Louis Farrakhan hang around you when you're at an event. Sooner or later the flashbulbs go off and then later someone points and says,
"Lookie! There's Checkers paling around with known white supremacist and antisemite Sam Troy! Hey Checkers, why are you paling around with people like that?"

Let this be my disclaimer and let it serve as a somewhat graphic depiction of me stomping all over a bean pie in downtown Oakland.

Jeff H aka Checkerboard Strangler - NOT your "brother minister".

Do you know what the posts said? Did they advocate violence? Or was it just anti-semetic. One should be left alone, one shouldn't.

The problem is Leftists nuttery view that words = violence. They are not.

Freedom of speech is what it is, Freedom of Speech. The First Amendment of the Constitution should never be infringed. This is Not Europe. I see you bring up genocide of the Jewish people. What about the advocating, inciting the encouragement of White genocide?

PayPal has freedom of speech too, and they didn't want the association

If a business can be forced to bake a cake then they can be forced to support free speech, amirite?

The issue we'll soon be facing is that these privately owned internet companies are using monopolistic power to suppress speech. I hope they get their **** together because I would hate to have the government deal with it.

Aren't conservatives generally in favor of giving businesses more freedom to decide which customers they want to serve and which ones they don't?

So is Gab anti-Semitic or is it just a platform where anyone can say whatever they want? This is the first I am hearing about them.

It's a free speech platform, and had a few hundred thousand accounts last I heard. Some bad apples got in, because bad apples always get in.

And now it's down.

Hah. But true. I sided with Sam Troy's position on this issue, too. You gotta' call 'em like you see 'em, right? Anything else is being less than honest with one's self, and that is of the worst things anyone can ever do.

I dont hear that called very often. I am also not at conservative and hesitate to speak for them.

If a business can be forced to bake a cake then they can be forced to support free speech, amirite?

Well which is it? Should businesses be allowed to choose their customers nor not? Pick a consistent position.

The issue we'll soon be facing is that these privately owned internet companies are using monopolistic power to suppress speech.

Didn't conservatives just give ISPs a lot more power to do exactly that by removing net neutrality laws?

That's also true of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and even this very forum. Gab didn't deserve to get taken down.

Gab is looking for another hosting company at the moment, so we'll see who takes them up on that offer.
