This is exactly the type of behavior we need to condemn and move away from in this country. Unless there’s a store policy against headwear or something (verbally enforced by store employees) the Trumpkin was within his rights to wear his stupid had and not get harassed.

Can't watch the video from where I'm at, but based on the push back you're getting in this thread, I would suggest that this action taken, despite feeling good in an ugly kind of way, is counter productive, and shouldn't be bragged over.

You want to do meaningful activism, you want to successfully #Resist? Then abandon the tactics of your opponent, and present a better option, rather than knock of hats and convince yourself you're anything more than a child. Nobody cares about the "Proud Boys", not even the Right...ask most folks on the Right in this forum what they think of the Proud Boys, and they'll call them assholes as quick as you or I.

But even assholes have rights (thank goodness, as we all have a bit of asshole in us), and they should not be infringed upon. Let the bastards hang themselves, they don't need our help, and we don't look any different than them for doing so.

Deuce, my fellow DP poster, when I wrote: "Another leftist wants laws limiting the 1st Amendment's freedom of expression because it allows people to disagree with the fascist left," I was responding to Moderate71, who wrote: "Putting on that hat on is offensive and it should be illegal."

Your statement, Deuce, has absolutely nothing to do with what was being said. Wearing a hat in public, regardless of what it says, is protected by the 1st Amendment. I responded to a leftist who wants laws limiting the 1st Amendment's freedom of expression. The left, as a whole, wants to limit the free speech of anyone who disagrees with them, which is fascism. Elected Democrats consistently proclaim that their opponents must be silenced.

Redneck looking dude? The confrontational "hat assaulter" hates Trump, bee-bops around Starbucks with his shorts hanging down wearing a sports jersey and a baseball cap so you assume he's a Redneck? He looked more "urban" to me. Also, what evidence do you have that the video is faked?
 
Another one. This woman was doing the same thing and the owner of the bar spoke his mind. It's about time people stood up to these bullies and the police need to get involved. It's even worse when a minority does it because they are betraying their own people. The minorities need to be stopped and helped with counseling since they can't understand what they are doing, so we don't have to arrest them. The white males need to be arrested.
