I say this because at the very most your " cancer " can only exist for two to six more years.
No Prez can serve longer than that.

So is it your intent to "remove" this cancer forceably as some in your camp have suggested, or let it die a natural death in two to six years in accordance with our laws?

This thread is about hyper partisan language that is tearing this country apart.

YOU...YOU called the sitting president " A cancer ", therefore implying he needs to be cut out as others of like mind have said.

Don't deflect your own violent language.

Calling anyone " a cancer ", is just driving up the hate and violence that already exists and what I am trying to fight.

You came on my thread and called the sitting president A CANCER, when this thread is about how divisive and crazy we have all become.

Yes they do, or most that I've met certainly do. Most Christians get their morals from the bible, they're like dogs who are told not to go on the sofa, obeying what master tells them.

Atheists on the other hand have to come up with a moral framework on their own, so they often put a lot of thought into their moral beliefs, and so understand why they are making the choice they are making.

With anything concerning human life is it not wise to error on the side of caution?

Actually, there is a path to a mending and its one I have rarely if ever supported in my political life.

I have more often than not been supportive of giving organized political parties the governmental elbow room to try what they want to try. If that has meant giving them the votes to try what they want, as long as they earned them legitimately, I have been OK with that. Granted, I might be kidding myself in using the word legitimately in a country now crawling with voter suppression advocates, gerrymandering and outright chicanery.

I was a 35 year Executive Marketer rising to Executive VP before retiring. We always had handed over our politics to the most unscrupulous within my herd. Been that way for a long time. But now we have been stupid enough to turn our government over to them. Government and Politics are not the same thing. Hopefully I don't have to explain how they are different to this group. But that distinction is clearly not being made presently in this country much to our demise. But I digress.

As I said, I was always wiling to accept one political party or the other having enough elbow room to try things they wanted to try. If you don't try, you don't learn. However, now we are onto "doing" things that we done decades ago. Done and dusted...proven wrong or at the least ineffective and counter productive. Worse, one group claiming "its always winning" and the other group's frustration with their inability to make the "winning group" understand that they are really losing and just don't know it yet has led to additional tribalism, violence, disfunction and discontent for everybody. There is no contentment to be found anywhere within any group at the moment. There is no ease, no family, no unity of purpose, no nothing at present.

So I am changing my stripes for now on the issue of giving political groups, ANY political groups the elbow room to try things, to do things. We need the dems to gain some control back. We need stagnation at present because we have been proven too stupid, too gullible, too arrogant, too selfish, too immature, in fact too violent at this point in our history to handle anything but stagnation until we get a grip...all of us. Stagnation won't satisfy anybody either. But its for the present exactly what we deserve and the only thing that might pull us out of this mess and bring us to some unity of purpose.
