Aside from a burning hatred of DJT, normal everyday decent Americans, and the nation in general, what exactly is the leftist platform for 2018?

I assume the left doesn’t like Americans being employed and self reliant. I also assume the left doesn’t like the fact the economy is moving along like gang busters. Of course the leftists hate the fact business confidence is high and the average working person is making more money. All these great indications of a thriving robust economy must really chap some leftist hide. Because if the nation elects those bozos, you can kiss all of that goodbye because Pelosi has vowed to block everything DJT is doing.

That you have to ask pretty much means you have no honest interest in rationally discussing the subject.

That, and lying about the left having any hatred for 'normal everday decent Americans'.

It depends on the candidate, but generally the progressive platform will have things like Medicare for All, increase in minimum wage, increase taxes on the wealthy, and probably a push for tuition free college and/or money out of politics. The more standard democratic platform will likely involve strengthening the ACA and possibly a couple things from the progressive platform. There will be a lot of talk about immigration and probably criminal justice reform as well. The more aggressive positions will involve things like increasing the number of members in the house and pushing for PR and DC statehood.
 
Depends on what you mean by "left"... coming from a far right winger that can mean anything these days.

Is it the moderate Republicans? Independents? Moderate Democrats? Far left Democrats (not that there is such a thing)? Or is it just everyone you dont agree with that is "left"?

You wouldn't know but I am sure you're eager to pretend that you do, because since the Right doesn't have a message of their own till Trump shoves the suppository up there, they have to try to control the messaging of the Liberals instead.

Incidentally, one of the messages IN a Trump suppository happens to be: Control liberal messaging, and be sure to use "leftist" as much as possible.

As someone who isn't a Trump fan, didn't support him in 2016, and still thinks his public behavior is an embarrassment, it does seem that the democrat's platform is centered around a very open, very strong disdain for the president.

They've expressed a desire to:

a) Impeach Trump
b) Halt the building of the border wall
c) Either dismantle ICE, or take measures to prevent them from deporting illegal's who already reside here and make it difficult to deport the ones caught illegally crossing.
d) Repeal the presidents tax cuts.
e) Impeach Justice Kavanaugh.
f) Prevent any future Trump SCOTUS nominee from being seated, regardless of who it is.
g) End all investigations into government corruption (FBI, DOJ, State Department) and prevent the public release of any documents that might indicate corruption took place with either the Clinton Email, or Trump/Russia investigations of 2016.​

So I guess the question remains, what is the 2018 platform for leftists and the democrats in DC?

While there are several lefties trashing the OP I don't see any of them listing exactly what it is the Democratic party's platform actually is! So speak up share what it is the left stands for. Are you afraid to define it because you have so many looney tune leftists in your party right now you don't want to speak out too firmly because you might offend the loony tune infractions?

All the refugees in the world are welcome at the border even though we can't afford to take care of our injured veterans and homeless.

All opposing views will be considered misogynistic, racist, homophobic, anti female, and anti science.

Basically taxes will have to be raised on the middle class to pay for all the freebies. Like they were to pay for Obamacare. Don't you think this will have a negative impact on the economy? Oh, and thanks for being honest.

Since when is smaller responsible gov't, lower tax burden on families, less regulations, abiding by the constitution considered "far right" ideals?

It depends on how much the taxes would need to be raised on the middle class. I don't think raising taxes on the wealthy hurts the economy just like I don't believe tax cuts on the wealthy helps the economy. If the increase in taxes on the middle class is less than what insurance costs now we would probably see a positive impact. There are plenty of examples of countries with single payer healthcare that have strong economies.

The democratic party may not be pointing to their platform, but there are plenty of candidates running who have their own platforms.

It'll be interesting to see how the platforms of whichever democratic candidates win November 6th clash with the democratic party, if they do at all.
