In the midst oft he current VOTER FRAUD SUPPORT LIESPEAK CAMPAIGN< I notice that they FAIL TO MENTION THIS, about the "disenfranchised" American Indians on N.Dakota, due to the new requirement that they have an ID that shows a residential address:



~...State officials say the requirement is needed to prevent voter fraud, especially because North Dakota does not require voter registration (instead, voters may simply bring ID to the polls on Election Day). And they maintain that no eligible voter will be disenfranchised.

In a letter to tribal leaders, the secretary of state’s office wrote that any voter without a residential address could contact their county’s 911 coordinator, describe the location of their home and, quickly and at no cost, be assigned an address that the coordinator could confirm in an official letter. The voter could then either use that letter to obtain new identification or present it at the polls alongside an ID card that would not have been sufficient on its own.

A desire to vote denotes a willingness to participate in the system. So in the spirit of that system, list an address on your ID. No ID, no voting. No exceptions. You disenfranchised yourself and have only yourself to blame.

I think the state of N.Dakota came up with a more than fair and easy solution for the N.D. American Indians.

We know what their intent is and now they are back peddling because of the PR flap they caused to themselves
 
Most rational people don't have problem with the law. Fine it's the law.
Most rational people think the timing is the issue and election laws should not change in the middle of an election.
Most rational people think 911 has more important things to do than appoint street addresses to thousands of people with less than 30 days to do so.
But then again rational is not a word in today's political climate.

No, yours is a sorry excuse to mask real republican intent, which is to prevent as many people in the minority sectors from voting, because they know if the turnout is large, repubs lose.
