WASHINGTON – President Trump at a rally in Montana Thursday praised the state’s congressman for body slamming a reporter — and said the assault helped him win a seat in the US House.
Speaking to a Missoula event, Trump showered GOP Rep. Greg Gianforte with praise and recalled the candidate assaulting Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs last year for trying to ask a question.
“Any guy that can do a body slam, he’s my kind of guy,” Trump said to applause. “I shouldn’t say that — (but) there’s nothing to be embarrassed about.”
Trump said he initially thought Gianforte’s act of violence would hurt his election chances, but “then I said ‘well, wait a minute, I know Montana pretty well, I think it might help him.’ And it did!” Trump said. “He’s a great guy. Tough cookie.”

I don't really know what to say about this but considering the fact that for the past two weeks the news headlines have been all about a Washington Post journalist being murdered. This praise by Trump for a man running for Congress that body slammed a reporter is a bit over the top. It's more revving up his base and inciting more violence, but what else can we expect from this idiot.
You're standing on your head.

Gravity decides which way is up?
Generally, as we define the direction of gravity as down.
lol
But look at what's in this thread, another Trumpeteer above us excusing the exalting of violence by claiming the Democrats did it first and that's how it is now. What we haven't seen is anyone on the right denouncing it, Trumpeteer or no.
So if a Black Hole came close to Earth and created gravitational pull, it would suddenly become up and the Earth would suddenly become down?
Also, you said I excused violence. Quote me or stop lying about my positions.

WTF are you talking about?
Also I didn't say YOU excused violence. So quit lying.

Who was this about then:
My moral high ground is still here.
This is the new political landscape. The Left introduced it, you all need to learn to live with it.
No, violence from the Right started with Timothy McVey, all those years ago.
Trump talks off the cuff, not off consultant written speeches, at rallies. One of the things people like about him.
Republicans lost any moral high ground forever when they defended Trumps praise of Nazis as good people.
For tax cuts and overturning Roe v Wade, they would blindly follow Satan through the gates of Hell, and claim he's the savior.
If by 'garbage' you mean Trump then no, there's already enough garbage on him to sink a garbage skow to the bottom of the Atlantic. This is his about his insistence at inciting violence against reporters despite the fact that one was murdered by his cash cow buddies, the Saudis.
It's lies like this that cause people to laugh at Liberals.
Was he, or was he not aware that Nazis were part of that group in VA?....
Was every single person there, a nazi? 100%?
There is little political risk in calling out Nazis, yet he refused to do it. That speaks volumes.
I understand that calling out white supremacist would have been political suicide for a Republican, but Nazis - not so much - yet he glossed over them.
